Etna picked up the paper and read it. "Out in the middle of the desert? Well so much for trying to sneak up on them. Oh screw it, I'll just go with Plan A: seek and destroy." She crumpled up the paper and tossed it over her shoulder. She stepped out of the ship and shouted at everyone, "Hey guys! I'm gonna go kill the enemy. Follow if you want, I don't care, I don't really need any help in this. I'll be back in an hour tops." Then she took off into the air and headed towards where Joseph was.

Joe tried to compose himself, running a shaking hand through his hair.

Jean nodded, understanding now.

Etna pulled out her weapon as she easily spotted Joseph and Knight. Not even trying to run or hide anymore? Big mistake. He really is dumb. She thought as she drew a bead on Joseph.

Joseph cleared his throat and prepared to give his final speech. "Nice place here...isn't it? Such a shame it holds such importance to the religious types. So much blood spilled over this ground...and why? Because of myths and superstitions..." he said.

Knight stayed silent.

Etna flew over Joseph and Knight and landed on the opposite side of them as the others. "Just shut it and give me the book. If you hand it over quickly enough I might still be feeling generous enough to let you live." So close, after a spending a month on this worthless rock I'm so close to getting what I want now... She said, getting straight to the point as she aimed her weapon at Joseph's head.

Tao walked to the edge of the cage to watch, she tired to see if there was a way out or not.

"Not interested in a story? Hmm..." Joseph said as he took The Book out and looked down at it. He carefully held The Book in his shaking arms, almost like it was incredibly heavy. "You know...I don't even want this thing...But I don't have much of a choice here..." he said.

Tao would find the cage didn't seem to have any way of opening it.

Phoenix walked over to the head of the ship, seeing Joseph. Her shortswords started glowing a dim red.

"I better not hear any complaining from you, since I gave you a way out. You're just too dumb to take it apparently." Etna said to Joseph. Then she opened fire with her Gun-Halberd and fired three shots at Joseph's center of mass.

Tao sighed and rattled on the cage a little, she got out her claws and sharpened them against the bars.

The bullets were blocked by the book. Joe decided to sit on the cage to limit how much he was attacked. "Alright...So this is it." he muttered.

A large, black rain cloud formed over the group.

Long fang tensed, before running at Joseph, ready to jump when he got within range. As he did this he focused on Knight, ready to roll out of the way of an incoming swing.
