OOC: @Outis Yeah, but typically not very powerful ones, just for maneuvering in a harbour until they can get out in the open water and raise their sails. It doesn't particularly matter, just figured that I should say that whatever boat we're on would need to be powered by something other than sails.

'So we have a guy with more swords than a cook has knives, space rockstar, an ice witch, several cat people, several basket cases... and a partridge in a pear tree...' Karl thought as he hummed the end of the song.

He was sitting on one of the outer sections of the ship/yatta/canoe/battleship, they were on. He decided to play the violin to pass the time, and also to see if he could get any information from anyone.

Arma watched Karl play as it sat on his boot.

"The concept of chivalry? The belief in not harming the innocent, killing the unjust, and pledging oaths to your god? I live that life. I do not decry IT. I decry the people who claim to believe in it. My kind have observed your culture and its warriors, and the knights were jokes! If you wanted to make a joke about a human who didn't understand the very concept of actual honor codes, you'd choose knights as the punchline!" Long fang chuckled. "you would claim to defend the innocent, but every victory a knight would claim over its feudal rivals would see mass rape among the defeated's females! Your kind would cheat, lie, and serve both sides to just earn a bit of money!" Long fang examined Jacques. "Why you yourself represent the mercenary class quite well, mister privateer!"

OoC: this reaction is by no part my personal opinion Berk, so I hope you aren't actually offended by it. The predators are just really honor bound, and history points to a less then glamorous history for the concept of chivalry. Really hope you don't take this the wrong way.

@Salty: Once again, all depends on character interactions... Hell if everybody was a jerkass to her, then she would eventually be a jerkass as well, with a slight homicidal tendency. Her personality is going to be molded via the group.

"Usually punished for showing emotions though..." Nova mumbled.

"...Well you certainly don't have to worry about that from me." Jean said to Nova.

Especially perceptive people might hear a disconcerting rumble from deep under the water's surface.

OoC: 1 was 500, 2 was 1500, 3 was 2000. Yeah, they get longer. Don't worry about it, though.

Axel started grinning like a mad-man and cracking up when he saw Tao jump on Crystal. "Oh man, these guys are a riot!" He exclaimed.

@Furioso:...You have no idea. Last one was over 2,000 pages, no joke.

@Berithil: *Clears throat* "I'd like to point to the basket case comment, I think that might suffice."

Karl that's pretty rude...

Karl continued to play but Arma, started to ruffle its feathers a tad because of the deep sea rumbling.

Twilight lifted her head. She thought she heard something. Maybe it was just due to the headache she was still experiencing from over exerting herself.
