OoC: @Outis does have a point. Tao's favourite things in life seem to be (in no particular order) food, sleep, playfighting, her friends and groping people.
@Iam If you need to drop out to look after your daughter, go ahead. A child is more important than a story.

Vergil closed the door, then sat on the bed in the room. He shrugged off his coat and rested his sword against the wall, then sat in silence, meditating.

The woman saw the lizard creature run around and slowly backed off towards the exit. Should she go after it? she wondered. No... Surely there were others better suited to do such a thing.

A man drives up the road to the mansion. He has blonde spiky hair, wears black clothes and rides a strange black motorcycle. "Just where have I ended up?"
He looks around. Hmmm. I don't like it. I really don't like mansions.

682 proceeds to chase Grey (as nobody has objected to the concept of it existing) until a loud clanging sound is heard

A Hunter class gunship was coming back to the GFC's command center on Earth after experiencing some time in the Dasha region in space.
"It's about time I've needed a rest. This conflict with phazon has become more complex as the days progress."
Her calendar on her dashboard read September 23rd, 2077 AD.
"Earth at last."

Just then a sudden shock was felt on the gunship as if it was hit by an unseen asteroid. As Samus shook her head and opened her eyes, it appeared that the whole surface was devoid of any radio signals coming from it.

"Another rift? What the hell? What's wrong with my radio?"

She moved the ship just above the atmosphere and transmitted a standard greeting through all hailing frequencies to Earth.
