Nova continued eating her fish, eventually showing how hungry she was.

Scout shrugged, "Everyone is weak, in some way. You need someone to cover your back, you need a well-balanced team."
She gets up, and begins walking around the ship, idly spinning a baseball cap in her hands.

Kalin put back his chain mail on. Alric wandered off through the ship. Tristan continued to stuff pretty much anything in his pockets. "While we are sparring. How about we have a nice match uh mind flayer thing" He said twirling around his mace a bit

Samus walked over to her computer in her ship, where it notified her that the external cameras had picked up the others moving. She had the ship lock onto the energy signature of Nova's weapon (which she obtained while scanning her earlier) and kept a lock-on towards the group on the boat.

Long fang was a little dismayed at the girls lack of control while angry. "well I suppose its something to use when the worst comes, but perhaps a better discipline would help as well. Is it difficult for you to sit still?"

@Slenn: Oh? If that's so...

Nova's weapon always tried to repress a signal being sent back into space and... Nothing. Whatever signal that it sent into space seemed to just disappear and nothing is sent back. Curious. But a cut off point was always in midorbit around Earth.

Nova eventually finished the fish and set aside the bones. She got up and started swinging her swords at imaginary targets.

 

[Chungus]

"Oh... Well, I'm really not sure if I can help you. I'm not very proficient with White magic." Terra replied, then thought for a while. She really had no idea how to help Cloud as she only ever healed wounds and flushed poisons out of the body. "Maybe if I try this..." Terra raised her hand, wich began glowing with a feint green light as she cast a Poisona spell. The light flowed into Cloud, but did nothing as he wasn't poisoned. "Did that help any?"

 

[Saltyk]

Cloud waits for a moment... "No, not really. I guess it was a bit much to hope for. I don't think I could have done anything, even with materia." He said, after a moment.

"Heck I'm only using it if my life depends on it" She muttered. "I can sit down perfectly still thank you!" She said to Long Fang.

Tao rested her head against Nova. "Tao thinks you enjoyed that Nova Lady" She said smiling, her tail swished side to side.

OOC: @Rosh. Her ship wasn't in space, it was still near the mansion. So, does that mean her ship can still detect the energy signature?

The little merry group walked around the ship for something to do.

"But for how long, little seer? Every one of my people have to sit for hours at a time while out braids wrap around our hands, stabbing deeply into our palms without us showing so much as a single grimace at the pain. Could you say the same?" Long fang is gesturing to his hair while saying this.

@Slenn: The scan of Nova's weapons would have picked up an anomaly of a strange signal being sent into space. Oh and to answer your question, yes.

Nova looked slightly flustered but then smiled, putting away her shortswords "Y-Yeah.. I did."

"I'm sorry... But like I said, I'm not very good with White magic. I only know four spells in that school." Terra said as she leaned again the railing.

"I can sit still for hours....not sure how I'd react to the stabbing in my palms tho" Crystal said to Long Fang, leading against her staff.

Tao smiled, then lightly pawed at Nova's chest.

@Rosh. Alrighty then. I figured intuitively that the scan would pick up something strange about her weapon in addition to matching the frequency of the morse code signal.

Samus's ship came on close approach and slowed down, hovering just a few feet above the water. She slowed the ship so that it would coast beside the boat.

"No, it's fine. If you can use curative magic, that will be quite useful. I just wish we'd get off this damn thing before I throw up a lung..." Cloud said.

Ooc: @Outis So, about that timeskip... Maybe after Samus gets here we could do something?

"well what do you think about when you are casting a spell?" Long fang was not very experienced with spell users, but surely it was just like any other combat in terms of focus?
