The infantry, being all but destroyed at this point, simply fall limp and crumble away. The cavalry continue their attacks. In the distance, some of the group might see ghostly artillery units setting up...

OOC: 50 cavalry left. Group 2, go.

Samus quickly scanned some of the artillery units and the 'living' ghosts themselves, to see what kind of energy or biology they might be made of.
I guess this marks the second time I've fought ghosts. I wonder how many more I'll fight while I'm here.

The bullets and swords don't penetrate or drop the energy of her armor by much.

She fires some charged power-beam shots at the cavalry.

Cloud fought his way back to Fenrir and started it up. Deflecting an attack from a cavalry, he jumps on the bike and races towards the artillery. As he gets close, he jumps off and comes down as he glows with a blue aura striking the ground with such force that it sends a powerful wave of energy towards the artillery.

*the old man sent his daggers towards the two horseman in front of him fallowed by a energy blast from the staff towards the enemies approaching from behind, almost hitting the man in the black coat*

Twilight began to teleport spam to avoid the trampling hooves. The constant attacks were making it hard for her to concentrate the spell. Finally she made it out of the main group of horsemen and began to fire shots of magical energy into the horde, teleporting some more to avoid the attacks, then opening fire again. Teleport, shoot, teleport, shoot.

 

[Drakmorg]

Axel, after pummeling the ghost who messed up his coat back to death, turned around to see a bunch of cavalryghosts charged at him. He did the only sensible thing he could think of, face them head on. He stood his ground and tackled one that was trying to trample him right to the ground, taking a few more slashes from other passing enemies. He then started swinging the ghost horse around like a club by holding it from its back legs, first using it to crush its rider, and then using it like a bat to swat at passing cavalryghosts like it was a baseball bat.

Seeing another wave of horsemen charge at her, Terra cast yet another Holy spell at them. When one of them survived the attack, Terra took on a defensive posture again, waiting for the enemy to strike and the oppertune moment to counter it. When the charging horseman was close enough, Terra took a step to the side and blocked the incomming strike, moving her blade downwards to force the sword of the enemy down also and create an opening. She took a quick step forward, slicing at the horseman's side as she did.
When this was done, Terra glanced around the battle field, first observing the figure in black, then the artiliry being set up by the ghosts. Figuring that preventing the enemy of readying cannons would be a good idea, Terra cast a Meteor spell, raining down several meteorites, roughly twice the size of bowling balls at the ghosts setting up the artility.

The artillery's firing procedure is interrupted by Cloud, but they continue trying to fire...until Terra crushes four of them. The remaining one tries to get a shot off. The cavalry continue to writhe around, attacked anyone and everyone they could.

The larger group of ghosts, now significantly smaller, starts moving away from the group for some reason.

OOC: 26 cavalry, 1 artillery piece. Group 1, go.

 

[FPSfanatic]

Long fang grunts in anger at the sinking of the remaining prey, before turning and jumping at the calvary, trying to land on one of the horses backs, before ripping into its rider. In mid jump, he lets the disc loose again, aiming into a thick group and trying to keep it above the normal head height.

OoC: I'm going to be gone for a bit, possibly the rest of the night, depending on a friends internet connection. If I'm not back soon, just wound me badly enough to need to sit it out.

Crystal found it hard to keep up with the amount of Magic she was using, but kept going. "Ice Spear" Crystal said and swung, then a dozen of small ice spikes came threw the ground and impaled some of the Cavalry.

Tao threw a couple of apple cores, empty Jars and a bomb at the enemy.

Vergil saw the cavalry retreating. He teleported in front of them, Yamato's scabbard crackling with purple lighting. He drew the blade and disapeared. A multitude of holes in space surrounded the cavalry, a sword slash going through each one. When it was over, Vergil reappeared, flicking Yamaoto clean and sheathing it.

Kalin continued to smack his way across the battlefield. He felt it was probally being over ally cruel but people did need his help. Tristan went to attack the artillery and Alric sent a ice beam the artillery's way to

Scout continues with what she's doing, knocking ghosts off their horses.
