OOC: SUppose I'll give a general sum up then. Varger is my OC, I played him for nearly all of WAOA 2 and a chunk of WAOA 3. Back then he was for all intents and purposes a cyborg. Mentally unstable does not begin to describe this guys and basically he killed alot of people. He had divided several parts of his mind to watch over the 3 A.I weapon systems in that he had. Fenris, the hunter. Nidhogg, the Dragon and Jormungander, the serpent. Only problem with the serpent was that he had to completely give up his existence to draw it into being since it lied to him. Jormungader was no A.I but the biological mapping to ressurect and being from before humans. This serpent then sent Varger back, stripping him of his body and leaving him as a wretched dimensional Wraith. He's not magical, his abilities come from the fact that he isn't fully in this universe.

The woman saw a new man enter the mansion. She wondered if all the people she had seen so far lived here, or if they were lost as she was. If it was the latter, how was that posible? How was it possible for many lost people to be drawn to the same place simultaneously? It didn't make sense to her. But then again, in her current state, not much did.

Roland sat down in the hall with a platter of food, and began to eat.

OOC: Which other characters are in the dining hall right now?

Wary of anyone watching he slid into the perception of the woman. Hiding within the corner of her vision.

OOC: Basically Varger has to appear in her vision but he will be hiding within it. Behind objects, in her blind spot or the aforementioned corner of her vision.

OoC @Binn: Mine and Ven's, I think.

The woman looked around the large hall rather nervously. Not being able to shake the feeling she was being watched. She walked furhter into the hall where it was more lit, taking little notice of Roland.

Varger timed his movement with that of the woman's blinking. Based on where she was looking currently he had to hid himself in plane sight. His ragged form draped over a chair, his shadowed face gazing at her. When she next blinked he was gone, hiding to her right in the corner of her eye. He longed to feel flesh in his grasp once more but there was a small crowd here. Alone he was dangerous and powerful but slipping through the gaps in multiple perceptions is harder than simply hiding within one.

*a raven flew into the dining hall holding a note with its beak*
"My friend would like something to eat, if you would be so kind as to give something to her. Their kin are not very picky"

Roland notices the woman entering the hall, and senses the incorporeal presence following her. He wondered what it was. Possibly a Speaking Demon. That would be more in line with the traps he'd come to expect from the Man in Black.

For now, he just watched and ate, mulling over his options.

A raven! He had been warned by the serpent of this. Ravens, Dogs and Cats could all sense things that weren't there. Not even the serpent knew why, they simply could. He hoped by hiding in one perception he could escape notice, long enough to lure the woman away.

The woman looked at the raven holding the note, but didn't bother to look at it to see what it said. No. She had more pressing matters to attend to. Like not being taken by suprise by whatever was gazing at her. Every now and again, something appeared in the corner of her eye, but before she could make out what it was, it was gone. She was certain something was out to get her.
Looking at Roland, she asked, "Do... you feel like... something else is out there too?"

Roland looks up when the woman speaks, and locks his eyes, the colour of faded jeans, on hers.

"I do. And in my experience, that usually means that there is. I'll deal with it when the time comes."

So... It was not her imagination playig tricks on her. Something really was out there. The woman drew her sword, blankly staring at it for a moment. She didn't know how to propperly use a sword. Or perhaps she could simply not remember. Regardless, it was better then being utterly defenceless.

He had to move. He slipped a fork from tbe table during one blink, careful to now avoid the gae of others in the room. If it was confirmed that he was not where he was he would be forced out of the woman's perception. He threw the fork underneath the table, the metal clattering on the floor. He then slunk out of her perception and underneath the table, drawing shadows around him so that an area of unnatural darkness appeared beneath the table.

The woman gasped softly when she heard the sound of something metallic falling on the ground. She took a step back and looked at the table, raising the sword so that its tip was parallel to her face. What was it that made that sound? she wondered. It couldn't have been the man sitting at the table. She did not see him move. So, if not him, what?

*the raven flew back to the old man, nervously cawing along the way*
Do not worry my little friend, this matter is of no concern to us.

His meal finished, Roland sets a soft-leather drawstring pouch (retrieved from his saddlebags) on the table. Opening it, he removes a tin. Opening this, he reveals stacks of cigarette papers, underneath a small wrapped bundle. Taking out a paper, he sets it flat on the table. Taking pinches of tobacco from the pouch, he prepares his smoke. Then he glances up at the woman, ignoring the blade in her hand.

"Do you partake?"

The shadowy wolf once again loped in front of Varger, invisible to all but him.
"What?" His voice seeped out almost silently. The wolf bared its dark teeth.
"What else is there to do?" The wolf growled silently.
"You're right then, they won't know better. You win this one Fenris."
With that he began to drift upwards, through the table. His ragged form slowly emerging from the beneath the table.

"Partake...?" the woman asked Roland, briefly glancing at the pouch and t substance she did not recognize he retrieved from it. She shook her head, asuming that he meant to offer to share whatever was in the pouch with her. Her heart skipped a beat when the ethereal being rose from under the table. Was that the being that had been stalking her? Most likely. Its pressence was many times more... menacing then the other ghost she had seen a day earlier.

*the old man walked through the dining hall to the room beyond, his eyes fixed on the shadows, his mind searching memory for anything familiar, all he could come up with were the wraiths of yore but this was something different, something twisted*
