Her began to glow, which then shot out a purple beam of magical energy. The laser struck the nearby wall, leaving a smoking hole in it.

Aurora simply floated there, still in standby mode. The metal wings reverted back to their original position behind her back as well as shape. The fragmented blade reformed into their original position floating around Aurora's hands... Or where her hands would be.

Normally she had no problem with doing a simple offensive spell. It must be something wrong with this place.
OoC: Twilight's not going to be near as powerful as in the show. She won't be able to shoot lasers in rapid succession, and she won't be able to teleport spam.
