Yukino leaps into the air as the shot happens to miss her feet. In mid-air, she takes out her sword and a black mist seems to envelop her. Suddenly, the mist materializes into a large scythe with her sword substituting as a handle.

She swings at the snipers' camp with a diagonal slash that threatens to bisect the building.

Ratsel looked over at Rozalin. "Ah, good evening there Princess."
Rin smiled and nodded at Rozalin as well. She turned to Holly and chuckled. "Perhaps yesterday was... tiring."
Bullet continued to sleep, curling herself up.

His bloody business in the lower city complete, Mercer decided to start looking for a single clear path up the cliffs to upper city. He knew he would probably be able to run the whole way regardless, but hoped to cut down on time.
OOC: Seriously, it would be very nice to know if there's anything in particular to stop Mercer from doing just that. He wouldn't wait around this long with the infection already taking hold.

Caesar looked down at his arms and reached into one of the cuts Mercer had applied to him, and pulled out one of the tendrils, hissing as he did so.
OoC @Random there's a forcefield dealio over the entire upper city and lower city. Only things that get clearance can get through.

"I refuse to leave this town before we have completed our business here. Supposedly there's someone being held in the upper city who can aid me in returning home, and because it is the only lead I have, I can not afford to leave before I have found him." Rozalin replied to Blondie. She nodded and added, "Though I do agree that we most certainly need to pick up our pace." Turning to Ratsel, she said to her, "Good evening to you as well. We were discussing what our next course of action should be."
@Random: As far as I know, the upper city has an electro-barrier around it. Of course, Alex wouldn't be able to see it until he actually touched it...

Black materialized her sniper and used the scope of the gun to see what was causing the firing. She a couple of Snipers, she took cover and waited for a chance to shot them.

The snipers were perplexed to find Yukimaru going up in a puff of smoke and leaving a snowman in her stead. The lasersights darted around the place as they began searching to where she might have gone. As Yukimaru appeared behind one of the snipers and stabbed him in the back, his screams filled the ears of the two Bangaa, and four other snipers. The first dagger had missed both his spine and any major organs. The second, however, had pierced his spleen, sealing his fate.
As Majeh break through the window, the punch he delivered broke the sniper's neck before he could react.
Seeing his shot miss Yukino, who was now hovering in the air, the sniper took aim again. His eyes widened when he saw her giant scythe. In an act of desperation, he fired at her once more. Moments after this, however, he was sliced in half, along with a great portion of the building.
"Graah! Whoi do all moi plans always fail so horribly?!" Ba'Gamnan cursed as his ears were filled with the death cries of the sniper. He left the building and looked around.
Feeling staying in cover was hindering him, rather then aiding, Gijuk attached a grappling hook to the radiator under the window, then leapt out.
OoC @Berk: Well, there's a lift going to the upper city a few blocks away from the inn. I dunno if clearance is needed to use it though.
@Hatchy: Unless Black has followed Yukimaru, the gunfire would be well out of earshot.

The figure lowered the blindfold and focused. This massive, unfamiliar, city pulsed with dying souls. One thing that relaxed him, among this new and insane environment. A smile spread across his face, then faded.

And the light bulb exploded like the rest of the creations with AI that were made by Archimedes. Apparently they were forever doomed to be destroyed by the Vampire and Werewolf duo. A drop of water hit the light bulb making it look like it shed a tear
As the sniper dropped to the ground, Majeh gave a satisfied smile. He began to walk into the building to sneak up on the other snipers, when he felt the building rock from Yukino's attack. He looked back over his shoulder towards where Yukino was.

He then moves on into the building and makes his way to another upper level sniper, who was a bit unnerved from hearing one of his fellows screams of death. Majeh quickly came up behind the man and punched him in the back of the neck.

"Getting up to the upper part of the city?" Ratsel scratched her head. "Well that's easier said than done, especially with this infection going on."
"As it is to see everybody here safe as well." Rin chuckled.

Yukino gracefully twirls in the air having the sniper's final shot miss her wide. Seeing Ba'Gamnan pop out of the building, she warps down toward him, landing lightly on her feet. Her scythe was now shrunken down to be just about her size. She growls a bit seeing that the lizard in front of her wasn't the one who had flashbanged her. Addressing the elder lizardman, she smirks. [color=BB66BB] "I'm going to need to ask you where your other lizard colleague is. Do so and your death will be quick and painless." [/color]

His decision made, Mercer threw himself high into the air, struck the wall and began to sprint straight up. Every footstep hammered chunks of rock and soil out of it. He grinned, thinking of the mayhem that would ensue once Armageddon was visited upon those too selfish to save the people below them and too arrogant to believe that it would reach their height. Suddenly a massive jolt ran through him and blew him backwards. He screamed in pain as his limbs shuddered out of his control and tendrils burst from his body of their own accord. He fell faster and faster, reaching terminal velocity and still falling, until he struck the roof of a small family fast food store in the street that he had just cleared, and went straight through. Striking the ground like a meteorite, he pounded a crater into the city's surface and completely blew out the walls around him with a blast that could be heard for over a kilometre. Instantly gutted, the ruins of the store caved in on top of him, burying him in rubble.

"[sub]Huh, what? I'm up...[/sub]" Royce muttered as he sat up, mistaking Holly's comment for something aimed at him.
Rozalin looked down and sighed before addressing Ratsel. "I fear you may be right. I did notice a sort of elevator like the ones that led to this lower city not far from here. But there were guards posted who gave Yukimaru and I very discouraging looks when we tried to go near them. I can only assume that there will be even more guards now that this...infection has taken place." She looked over everyone on the roof and was pleased to see that most everyone was awake by now.

She took cover by the windowsill and began to chant to herself again as she cautiously peeked out the window to get an idea of the situation.
