[color=008888] "Alright then, man. I'll see you around." [/color] After Rex finishes stretching out, he gives a wave to Balthier and heads towards the castle gates. On the way, he sees Bullet struggling with a Floater. He quickly transmutes his chain back into its gun form and takes a few shots at it, hoping not to hit Bullet in the process.

"...Ooookay. I may be able to help with that." Royce said as he prepared his Phoenix.

"Just chatting about our own pasts. Sharing a little bit about what our own worlds are like and the people we were with."

OOC: On a more serious note I would like to join this rp forum and read to page 14 before deciding to jump to the end. Ill change my character(and avatar if necessary or requested) and are familiars with the rules. I would simply request i get filled in on the story(still in the sandy areas with the strange tree)

Spoiler: summary

The group arrived in the middle of a sandstorm, which mysteriously did not affect an area surrounding a lone tree, where a girl named Eve was sitting. As we arrived we were attacked by giant sand worms, we fled, and Eve led us to a town safe from the worms, where we learned in a bar that the people were oppressed by mask wearing people named "Overlords." Edgar from FF 6 showed up in his castle, which is near the town, and now half the group is there, with the other half still at the bar. I can't really remember who is where, but I think most of the people on now are at the castle.

@Rosh, I don't think he really attacked you, seems like a joke before he actually joins in

Fenrich chuckled "You don't understand, I mean the Queen of multiple worlds, in multiple dimensions. That castle can apparently travel between them, Lord Valvatorez would take control of it and subjugate these worlds, and you would reign supreme over them. All you have to do is sneak human blood into Lord Valvatorez's system. I'm not sure how you could do it, I've tried injecting it into sardines, but he smelled through the ruse. Just try to keep an eye out for any possible way to do it."

"I see... Do you get the feeling she has anger issues? I've got that sense. I'm not sure if I should trust a person like her or not." Ryu said, not particularly sure if he should reveal any of his own past...

"unless that thing can fix me on a genetic level, I'm stuck with it. And if you do remove it, the nanos start targetting blood cells." Bryce takes a sip from a flask. "besides, s'not so bad. I get to punch the shit out of steel like its crumble cake when i get hurt."

As Bullet continues to struggle against the Floater, she didn't really hear much of anything and continued her string of swearing, still trying to rip the strange creature off her face.

A few of Rex's shots hit Bullet's gauntlets, another few hit the Floater and some embedded themselves into Bullet's hands. Screaming more, she continued flailing around.

@Furioso: Well either way, a thing jumped from nowhere and latching on to people's faces doesn't really seem to be friendly.

@Dot: Did a dice roll (Makes sense; can't see anything... it was 11.)

Hearing Bullet scream, Edgar rushed over to see what was going on.

"What in the world is that thing?!"

"I shall see what I can do." Rozalin replied to Fenrich. "There seems to be little else I can do with my time here aside from this task." She added with a sigh. "A question occurs to me though, is there any particular quality of blood I must acquire, or will simply anyone's work? I'm afraid I do not know much in the way of specifics regarding vampires."

"Yeah, i doubt it would help with those. This disease is bad, but as long as I have control of it, i can help people. Thanks Royce, it was a mighty kind offer. I just still need this."

"Sounds more like a cult than a group of friends... That's not really a good thing, either." Ryu responds.

After briefly returning Rex's wave, Balthier picked up his glass once more and gazed deeply into the crimson liquid inside as he twirled the glass around. I wonder how Fran is doing... Eventually, Balthier sighed and drank what wine remained in the glass, then got up. And left the dining room, heading outside. When he saw Bullet struggling with some creature, Balthier drew a dagger that he had tucked away behind his belt and ran towards Bullet. Whilst trying to hold Bullet down with one hand, Balthier delivered a quick jab to the Floater with the dagger.

"Alright then. Just tell me if that ever changes." Royce said to Bryce with a smile.

Rex immediately reverts his gun back to normal as he sees some bullets hit... Bullet. [color=008888] "My bad!..." [/color] Seeing that there was only one other thing he could do, Rex walks up towards Bullet, charges his right hand with some electricity and punches the Floater as hard as possible.

Rex manages to sidestep as Balthier stabs the Floater as well. [color=008888] "Woah there..." [/color]

OOC: its a creature the the ancient game fallout 2(also my avatar)doesnt mind control or anything, kill me in a couple posts if you please until i get caught up.

The flesh was tangy and succulent, but unfortunately floater found that the arms attached to the delilcious face were much more powerful than a mere mutant could have perceived

The Prinnies were now running laps around an imaginary track in the sand "Come on now! How can you expect to answer your masters call in a timely manner if you cannot even run fast in the sand?"

Fenrich pondered the question for a moment "Hm, well it would make sense for the best blood to be in the healthiest people, but I think any blood would be just enough to bring him back to his old strength, or at least close to it."
