Eve got up, unlocked and opened the door. She'd left her helmet on the bed as well as undone her hair which now fell just below her shoulders. "Nah, I'm fine, still smiling like always." she said putting on a smile. "Just got a bit of a headache from my drink is all." she said a little regretfully.

"I wonder if you do... Or if you know what actual power is." Ryu said.
What would you think Teepo? Are these people worthy of power? Are these the types of people you feared gaining power?
He looks to Edgar. "What of you? I get the feeling there's more to you than meets the eye."

As he walked, Balthier moved closer to Rozalin. "So, princess. About this reward. What exactly would be the going rate for aiding you?" he asked casually, not having forgotten the prospect of treasure.

"I'll be happy to do so, once we're in the castle. And also, I require your name as well." He said to the doktor.

"Well, the simplest way to think about the Realm Transporter is that, if you had the right coordinates, you could possibly teleport yourself to whatever world you so desire. But with an infinite combination of things in a universe, you'd best record that world's coodinates so you can visit it again."

Bryce nodded. "Good to hear. Not that I mean its good to hear your head hurts when you drink, but good to hear that you aren't badly sick or anything. We need ya as a guide after all. Not to say we don't like you as a-" Bryce stopped talking and took a deep breath. "okay, glad to hear you're all right, 'night." he then walked down to one of the rooms he'd rented, pulled off his duster and hat, and fell fast asleep.

Eve blinked as Bryce left. "Um... Thanks?" she said before locking the door and going to sleep.

"Interesting... I wonder if that's what Momo created accidentally while trying to build a teleporter from scratch..." Ryu said after hearing Edgars's explanation.

Most of what Edgar had explained regarding his Transporter project went right over Rozalin's head. "Could this 'Realm Transporter' of yours possibly take me back to my home? I'm afraid I wouldn't know what those 'co-ordinates' you speak of would be though." She asked Edgar.
She looked over at Balthier as she continued walking and following Edgar. "I would not know of any 'going rate'. This kind of thing has never happened before, me finding myself away from my home."

Pleased by the kings kindness the Doktor realized this could be a opportunity to restart, perhaps become someone else. Clearly everyone here is from vastly different places, he could easily make up a new persona. [color="{skyblue}"]"Yes, of course! As soon as we arrive i will properly introduce myself and we can discuss things further."[/color] He said. For the first time the Doktor Smiled, his teeth were sharp and un-human, the temperature droped rapidly.

"... Ooookk then." Bullet said to Edgar, somewhat getting the idea.

"I've seen what it does. It burns, it destroys, it obliterates any and everything if left unchecked. I've seen what twistedness it brings. The thought that it was compiled into one man. No, not a man. A monster. A beast that..!" Bullet paused before whispered. "[sub]Destroyed everything that I treasured ... My family, or what I had close to a family. Killed by one man...[/sub]"

"And do you fear that power?" Ryu asked nonchalantly.

 

[Slenn]

"It is an experimental piece still in the testing stages. Its run to here taxed its power cells so hard it has to rest for few days." He said to Ryu.

"Theoretically, yes it could bring you back to where you came from. In order to bring you back to where you came from there are 5 coordinates that are necessary. The first three are spatial coordinates: up-down, left-right, forward-back. The fourth is the time coordinate. And lastly, the fifth coordinate, and the most difficult to pin down, the timeline coordinate. That is which alternate timeline do you belong to. Do you remember how you got here?" He asked Roz.

Royce just stayed close to Roz.

"Ah well. I'm sure we can work something out on the spot upon the day you're returned to your home." Balthier replied with a small smile. "I do find myself wondering however. How did you end up in this place to begin with?"
He chuckled slightly upon hearing Edgar roughly ask the same question.

"No. I simply need a way to overcome that power. To be better than that power. What I faced was unrefined and cruel. Fighting may be all I know, but I've never fought for the sake of it. Never did, never has been. Fighting needs a purpose." Bullet sighed.

"I don't even know why I bothered even telling you that. Pay it no attention."

 

[Saltyk]

"All I meant is that I think my friend made the same device you are experimenting with, though she didn't mean to." Ryu explained to Edgar. He looks over to Royce.
Wow that man is pathetic. Even worse than many children I know. Worse than I was as a child, even...
He looks straight ahead, but addresses Bullet. "That's a good answer. Fearing that power is the same as hating it. And hating power simply because it exists is the wrong way to view it... Very wrong indeed. It's worse than the power that you fear..."

Rozalin shivered as she felt the temperature drop. "How much longer until we reach the castle? I feel like I'm about to freeze out here." She complained aloud. Upon hearing Bullet and Ryu talking about 'Power', Rozalin's glyph from the night before manifested itself behind her back for a moment, it's circumference reaching her full height, then disappeared. How odd. I didn't summon Father's mark. Why did it do that?

She was snapped out of her musing as she heard Edgar and Balthier address her. "I...can't recall how I arrived here. All I remember is that suddenly I was being buffeted by sand as I found myself in this dreadful desert." Specifically addressing Edgar, she said, "I'm afraid I wouldn't know any of those values."

"I don't hate power, I hate how its being used without restraint. Unleashing something like that person is a bad idea in any case. Hell, he started to rip apart his own allies to prove his point." she started feeling cold, but then dismissed it.

"Are we there yet?" Bullet complained. One, she was getting tired and two Royce kept looking like a pathetic pile of poo.
