He saw that Bullet and Balthier were checking out the provisions and vendors.

"Everything alright today? Have either of you seen Ryu up? I was going to ask him about heading up to the city in the sky."

 

[Furioso]

As the Prinnies approached, Valvatorez walked forward to meet them. They stopped in front of him, formed ranks, and Valvatorez began issuing drills to them using coded speech. The Prinnies began following the drills to the letter. Had this been a military unit, they would have been the top of their class... but they seemed to be doing exercises for training in sweeping and other household tasks.

Fenrich laughed at Bullet again. "As I said before, it was most likely taking pictures of a lascivious nature. Do try and remember the things I tell you."

"Then another encounter with the worms should to your liking, no?" He asked Bullet. Seing the swarm of peg-legged birds draw near again, Balthier cocked an eyebrow at the sight. "Peculiar little beings..."
Turning to Edgar, Balthier smiled slightly. "This is the finest day since I arived on this world yet. Good food, a bath and now a change of clothes. Splendid indeed. And no. Ryu is still asleep." Turning to Jack, he nodded. "Indeed. Quite a bother, having sand creep into your clothing. A change every now and again is advisable."

"Maybe because of your Gauntlets....It's not everyday you seem something like those...." Black replied to Bullet, she looked around the stalls but wasn't interested in anything.

"Hello again Edgar. I haven't see... Whoever that guy is... What city in the sky?" she said.

"Once again, I don't understand that." Bullet said to Fenrich, getting visibly irritated. "Oh hell no! I may like fights, but fighting those things again would be too soon." she said to Balthier.

Bullet shrugged at Black. "I dunno."

Corvo slowed his pace before coming to a stop, panting from the exhertion loudly. He doubled over for a few seconds before standing back up and looking around for anyone else who may be pursuing him.

Jack ran into Balthier in the market, carrying the large bounty of food and drink he had conned out of the merchants. 'Clothes?' He said as he approached the stand. 'Well, I know I'm already impeccably dressed, but some more threads wouldn't hurt.'

As he was out of useless junk to throw away, Jack asked the vendor what currency he took, and was quite surprised to learn that he took regular dollars.

"Ryu mentioned that the nearby town had its leader kidnapped by men from a city that floated in the sky. He was hoping that he could negotiate with the people. In the interest of figuring out what this place was like, I figured we could make some gyrocoptors to fly some of us up there to see what's amok." He explained to Bullet.

"I take it your in charge of those....Penguin....things?" Black asked Fenrich. "I do believe he is referring to your Clothes....Bullet...." Black said to Bullet, then rest an arms against her hip.

 

[Chungus]

For a moment, Balthier gave Bullet a confused look, wondering if she was being modest, or truly clueless. Turning back to Edgar he said, "Ah yes. I had almost forgotten about that. When will this "gyrocopter" be complete then? And how many passengers can it hold?"

OoC @trty: It isn't. The castle is from FF6.

"Gyrocopters? Are they anything like an airship?" Bullet asked Edgar.

Turning to Black she said. "... I don't get it. They're just clothing..."

The vault hunters looked around. "What the fuck?!"
"Did Dr Zed mix our healing stims up wrong again?"
"No, I don't have 3 heads."

 

[Slenn]

"That's what we need to figure out at the moment. I never knew of the event until just yesterday when Ryu mentioned it through word of mouth. Usually gyrocopters are small and can hold only one person at a time. We have a few in stock for our troops, but I don't know how many others will be coming up there."

"A gyrocoptor is a lightweight flying machine with a propeller above it that gives it lift. Air goggles are advised of course while piloting."

Corvo found himself on top of the building he was observing, only for it to become sealed off from him. The people inside weren't trying to kill him so maybe he could get in their good books by helping. He activated Dark Vision to wait for a time to strike.

OOC: I take it the vines are impenetrable?

Valvatorez turned away from the Prinnies to address Black "No, I am the one in charge of them. I am a Prinny Instructor! It is my job to ensure that these wretched souls are crafted into the finest servants possible." He turned back and began to instruct the Prinnies into what seemed like drills to teach them how to unclog a toilet.

Fenrichs face turned sullen "Yes... my Lord is a Prinny Instructor... [sub]A job that is far beneath him."[/sub]

Fenrich turned to Bullet "I don't know if you're just naive, or stupid. Either option amuses me though."

Balthier sighed in responce to Bullet and sighed. "It means they were admiring your physical beauty." Turning back to Edgar, Balthier said, "Would it not be more beneficial to build one large airship, rather then several small ones?"

OoC @trty: Nope. It's a single universe where people from elsewhere have stumbled upon.

OoC: @Dirty: Isn't it? This is a place where a bunch of characters from different universes have come together. It's a parallel universe where all possibilities are possible.

When it's a castle from a particular dimension, no it won't have different currencies from other dimensions. And even with all the characters around, that still doesn't mean that your currency will work since as far as we know, dimensional travel isn't a common thing in this world.

EDIT: but the market that everyone's gone too as of right now is in the castle grounds?

"Airships can be built, but this kingdom has never had the need to built one since the castle can traverse underground on a track. And the only airship that I've ever seen is from a gambling friend of mine named Setzer. We could build one similar to the one he built, although we'll have to research the schematics first."

"But seeing as how the underground rail system for the castle did not come with us during the transit, then you're proposal is ideal."
