@All: These things only take like two hits to be killed in SRW Z2.2 (Unless the character is an ACE, which.... Nobody is yet). So I just kinda transferred that thing over.

The DAMON that Black hopped off started internal combusting as the shell split outwards , revealing a young girl, barely 6 years old looking fearful at Black before the shell collapsed upon itself as the DAMON shell and the girl disappeared into a color array of blues, reds and greens

The body of the DAMON that Fenrich punched splatted onto the ground as the shell disappeared revealing the body of a young woman, Nekomata by the looks of it, that Fenrich so happily broke her neck. The Nekomata then disappeared like the young girl.

Valvatorez cleaved the DAMONs head in half, as the shell disappeared showing that Valvatorez had cleaved the head of an older Demon-male into two pieces. Much like Fenrich's DAMON, he disappeared as well.

The bomb lobbed at the DAMON blew up as the shell revealed an older man, in some strange knight armor his face scarred and broken as he too disappeared in a rainbow color array.

.... Curious, isn't it?

@hatchy *rolls 3 1's in a row* well, looks like Balthier died. Sorry for your loss. Now play a girl with some legs!
Caesar chuckes at the headbutt and screams at the laser, as it sheared off the top half of a wing. "AH SHIT! You piss fucker! All I do is melt your face, and you blow off my wing! I mean really, was that necessary?!" as he spoke a ball of acid had formed in his right hand, and, using his left to keep the jaw open, he jammed the ball down its throat and popped the bubble inside it.
Zachariah let loose 2 arrows at the monster Edgar fought, careful to aim at its haunches.

Edgar saw the DAMON lunge at him with its jaw wide open. He forced the drill forward into the DAMON's mouth.

OOC: I prefer not to use any dice. It ignores variables that can easily be registered with the human brain. And reduces everything down to random chance, when there should be a bell curve for events. For example, I have a drill, and there's an open mouth. I wonder what I can do there.

Rozalin ungracefully staggered out of the way of the other energy disk that had been flung at her, though it nicked the edge of one of her wings as they trailed behind her. She bit her lip to ignore the slight pain and she opened fire on what seemed to be the only DAMON not being attacked by someone else in close range.

OOC: That's a 15 to dodge.
@Slenn: I believe that counts as an 'attack of opportunity'.

The DAMON that Caesar forced the ball of acid down started melting as it revealed a young 12 year old boy having his skin, hair and internal organs broken down as he screamed helplessly then disappeared into the color array

Edgar pierced through the head of the DAMON as the shell started breaking down, as Edgar would see that he pierced the head of an old lady, the drill continuing to burrow into the ladies skull as she disappeared with in internal pull towards her abdomen. The arrows that Zachariah fired at the DAMON then hit Edgar.

Rozalin pierced the crystal on the side of the DAMON as it cried out in pain, then collapsed on the ground, as the shell disappeared, revealing a little baby crying before disappearing as well.

The other DAMONs that floated and flew about the deck started flying back towards the hole in the sky.

OoC: @Outis: That depends... Do you guys want to continue to @Nile's plot, or continue the fight to the micro-boss?

@Drak. And if I can't find an "attack of opportunity", then I don't use it. There's a bell curve for that.

Valvatorez rejoined with Fenrich "Peculiar, what was a demon doing inside that thing."

Fenrich cracked his knuckles "I haven't a clue, mine contained a Nekomata for some reason."
Neither of them showed much remorse

Blacks eye widened when she saw the little girl in the shell. "N-no...T-these things....are C-controlled by..." She said, as she slowly dropped to her knees. her sword hit the ground as she looked at her hand, which were shaking uncontrollably. What have I done? She thought as the horror of 'killing someone' was tough to bare. She was too much in shock to attack or focus on the DAMONS.

@Rosh i won't be able to make it through a plot expansion. Got school in the morning, and I'll have to watch over two little 'uns. Id prefer doing your microboss, and doing plot tomorrow. I can git it in then. Also, sucks to be the little boy, as Caesar would say.

Caesar shrugged at the screaming child. "Don't burn my wing off you asshole, and I won't cram acid in your face."

Zachariah winced when he saw his arrows hit Edgar, shortly before they exploded. "Sorry!!" he yelled at Edgar.

Seeing her target collapse, Rozalin ceased her fire. She raised an eyebrow at a baby suddenly appearing, then disappearing. She gave her usual groan of disgust at having to fight before saying, "Such odd creatures. I wonder why they attacked us. Perhaps this craft has inadvertently wandered into their territory? They certainly didn't seem like anything smarter than animals."

@Rosh: I honestly don't even think I care at this point.

OoC @Rosh: Looks like Nile's cooking, so we might as well do the boss in the meantime.

Balthier tried to get up, but fell down again almost instantly as he jabbing pain traveled trough his body. [sub]"Damn..."[/sub] He reached into his pouch to grab a potion, but stopped when he remembered he used his last one when he was pelted with shrapnel earlier in the day.

The combination of the horrid image of the lady being pierced and being struck by arrows was enough to make Edgar cringe and fall on his knees.

"Rrrrrgh!" He grunted. And he slowly picked himself up. He noticed Balthier and was slightly hunched over. "Someone help him!"

@All: Hmmm... Micro-Boss it is then.

As the DAMONs retreated into the hole in the sky, a strange being started manifesting in the hole. It was a humanoid figure, female by the looks of it.

Pure as snow white, it had golden trim around its features, as two rather large disk objects at its side connected by some strange metal coils. The coils themselves were embedded with large red gems that glowed beautifully despite the hole in the sky. It crossed its arms, scanning over the group once... twice before descending.

Spoiler: Ladies and Gentleman, the Pearl-Nail.

The rip in the sky disappeared as Bullet had been luckily saved by the DAMONs retreating. "What the hell..?" Bullet looked at the Pearl-Nail.

[color=greenyellow2]"Fair maidens and warriors! Cast aside your weapons as you are impeding the Crusader of King General Richard Insaraum the IV, Holy King of Insaraum!"[/color] the figure yelled, obviously female.

Black got up shaking. "Cast our weapons aside?.....Why the hell were there Children in those things!" She shouted in rage, as her arm cannon appeared to charge a shot. "I will not stand down....NOT AFTER WHAT YOU'VE MADE ME DO!" She said aiming her cannon at the figure.

Valvatorez looked shocked "Oh are we? I apologize I had no ide-"

He was cut off by Fenrich "All kings are insignificant compared to my Lord!"

Caesar looked over and saw Balthier fall. "ah dammit." he then rushed over, ignoring the new speaker.
Zachariah glared at the woman, before taking aim with a shaft of hardened rebar. "how about no?"
