Yukino shrugs toward Bryce and waves her hand toward the corpses scattered around the square. [color=BB66BB] "To be honest, I'm not sure. " [/color] She walks up to the body of an infected and pokes at it with her sheath. [color=BB66BB] " These beasts seemingly appeared out of nowhere. Listening to most of the group's conversations, they're calling them 'infected'. Maybe a virus developed due to all this smog." [/color]
Rozalin sighed with relief upon seeing that Rex was well enough to still speak. "Yes, now I will accept your thanks. And I apologize for the knife, but from what I have read it would most certainly not do well to let your would heal with a foreign chunk of shrapnel still lodged in it." She looked down at the knife and her hands, both of which were covered in blood, and shuddered.

Yukimaru, seeing no more sign of the enemy and taking note of those that had pursued the enemy returning, relaxed a bit. She exited the building Rozalin and Rex were holed up in and waved to her allies. [color=01B7FF]"We've got wounded here, zam! Is anyone else injured, zam?"[/color] She shouted.

Yukimaru, seeing no more sign of the enemy and taking note of those that had pursued the enemy returning, relaxed a bit. She exited the building Rozalin and Rex were holed up in and waved to her allies. [color=01B7FF]"We've got wounded here, zam! Is anyone else injured, zam?"[/color] She shouted.
"Well shit, that shouldn't be a problem for me." He holds out a finger, which stretches needle thin. He jabs it into a nearby corpse. "if this is a Virus, Caesar should have it pinned within the minute." a slight sucking sound can be heard as a bit of blood gets pulled. "Hope it isn't an infection though, if it got as bad as this Zachariah would be obliged to drop a haymaker on the lower city."
Majeh walks out of the alleyway and begins walking back to the inn. A little annoyed that he lost a target that he shouldn't have lost, not sure what could have been the cause, as he could sense the lizards presence even when he was invisible.
Ratsel landed outside the inn and dematerialized her armor before heading inside with Rin who arrived as well.
They both heard Yukimaru, and despite not be injured in any fashion, decided to walk over to her anyways. "I think we are all fine... Minus Rex."
"I was trained in some combat medicine skills." Ratsel offers.

Miss Rozalin is attending to Sir Rex right now, zam."[/color] Specifically addressing Ratsel, she said, [color=01B7FF]"Oh, so you've been trained then, zam? From what Miss Rozalin has told me, everything she knows regarding medicine is self-taught, zam. I'm certain that she would appreciate a second opinion, zam."[/color] Then, she turning to Rin and said to her, [color=01B7FF]"Oh, I don't think we've met yet, zam. My name is Yukimaru."[/color]
Rin nodded at Yukimaru with a smile. "Lingyin Huang, or Rin, at your service."
Ratsel's eyebrows raised slightly. "Perhaps so. Where are they now?"
@Drak: Shrapnel removal from the body isn't always the best thing to do. Leaving it there is sometimes better.

Rex closes his eyes and nods to Rozalin. [color=008888] "That makes sense..." [/color] Hearing Yukimaru, he grunts a bit in annoyance. [color=008888] "I'm fine now, dammit. I just need to lie down for a while..." [/color]

@Rosh: I actually rolled for that reason. Came out to a 17, so it's fine for now.

@Rosh: I actually rolled for that reason. Came out to a 17, so it's fine for now.
"Oh no, this is purely to see if this is artificial or not. If it is, we can hunt down the guy who introduced it, see if we can get a cure from him. If its natural, we nuke and run, as the case usually is." Bryce stands up, and his eyes look up, staring at something unseen. "Oh, interesting. Looks like it is natural, but they spliced some stuff. Nice job on it too, not anything like a bureau rush job that we usually see." He then reaches into his pocket for a radio.
@Rosh: Well I don't really know all that much about first aid, so lesson learned...I guess.

I do not want anyone else to die because I failed at something again." She said to Rex after finding a rag to wipe her hands with, though she made a mental note to find a sink and wash her hands as soon as she could.

"A pleasure to meet you as well." Rin nodded as she tucked away her scimitar. She took a seat next to Yukimaru. "... zHave any idea how these scores of... unruly infected creatures came to be?"

Royce left the bed and fished around in his pack for a bit. He found a thermometer and put it in Bullet's mouth, holding it in for the appropriate amount of time.
Rex keeps his breath steady as he lies there. If someone listened closely, they would hear a small humming sound coming from the chain around his arm. He smirks a bit. [color=008888] "Don't say that like I'm the only one who needs the attention. Plus... we've got Royce.... if he were actually a little more dependable." [/color]

Those things come out to attack quite often it seems, and not to doubt your skill, it would be smart to hold back a bit until we find the creator of this disease." [/color]

Those things come out to attack quite often it seems, and not to doubt your skill, it would be smart to hold back a bit until we find the creator of this disease." [/color]
"hmm. Fair enough. Let me just call Zachariah and give him a heads up on what's going on." He pulls out the radio and speaks as he begins moving back to the inn. "arrow, this is founder. Repeat, arrow, this is founder, please come in."

It shares characteristics with the the Logan virus, so be advised that we may need to use haymakers for quarantines." he looks into the hotel. "So tell me Yukino, have we suffered casualties yet?"
