Majeh makes his way to where Yukino and the fireman were. Leaping off the building he does a flip and lands behind the Fireman, in a crouched position.
"Hello. Please tell me you're strong, Alex." He said, with his hand playfully hovering over the hilt of his blade.

The figure stops the darkness and lowers his arms.
"That's... uh... not my name. I was just... um... trying to scare you. [small][sub]Sorry.[/sub][/small]"
The figures slowly approaches Rex.
"My name is Arakel. Uh... I'm surprised you didn't call my bluff."

As the tendril slipped through my grasp, it revealed although the lacerations made by the barbs were deep, they weren't as deep as one might expect, having only done superficial damage.
Forced off-balance as the blades of my opponent and my own colided, I jumped backwards to - ironically, having just pulled him closer - put some distance between myself and him. The moment I recovered from my jump, I raised my arms and formed two semi-transparant spheres in my hands, the brought them down, unleashing a soundwave that carried such volume, it could rupture organs.

Yukino initially had a huge smile on her face as she gripped her katana hard, bracing to swing at the fireman. Seeing Majeh land behind him, she frowned a bit. [color=BB66BB] "Majeh, dear... Could you leave this to me? I'll let you do whatever you want with the body once I'm done eviscerating him." [/color] Her eyes were a bit intense.

Alex turns to look at Majeh, hands still up and waiting for Yuniko's sword slash. "YOU KNOW BRYCE! Wait just a moment, for me to finish this test, and I will happily torture you until you tell me where to find him!"
Alex snarled and covered his ears as the solid wall of sound hit him, and he was thrown backwards off his feet. The surface of much of his body was blown backwards and lost its shape and texture, for a moment revealing him for what he really was, a homogenous, formless mass of pure Blacklight virus. Roling as he hit the ground, he regained his feet, leaning forward on his hands to keep his balance.
"What's the matter, can't handle getting up close and personal?" He shouted as his clothes and face reformed. "Fine, I don't need to!" He slammed one fist down on the concrete hard enough to punch throuhg, and there was a sound of churning, shifting soil for a few seconds. Then a nest of 12 foot long spikes of slick biomass, pulsing with thick red veins ripped from the ground at all angles, directly beneath Raziel's feet.

Arakel chuckles nervously. "Because I got scared, and when I get scared I just remember everything I've done and everything I gave up to be... where I am, and then I sort of... go a little bit... overboard. Just... slightly." he explains.
Majeh stands up and crosses his arms. "If you wish, Yukino. But I wouldn't mind sharpening my blade on this guy's spine."
He turns and starts walking back away from Alex. "I learned of you from some weaklings. I assure you, you'll find me more than a little difficult to deal with, bug."
He stops and leans against a wall, crossing his arms. "Put on a good show, for me, at least."

[/color] He turns for a moment walking the way he was going before and resuming his off-tune singing. [color=008888] "I'd suggest sticking with me for the time being if you're scared. We got infected and giant monkey zombies running around here." [/color]

The moment the blow lands, it cleaves into his chest, stopped when it hit something incredibly hard. Once it hits that rod, the blade becomes immovable as steel hard bone grows completely around the blade, stopping it from moving. "Ooh, think you managed to chip the bony center there. Impressive! My turn, right?" He slowly turns his head completely around, ignoring the seeming need for vertebrae. "I mean, I did give you your shot after all! Only fair I get one shot back."
Hearing something shift between the surface of the ground, I sprinted forward, not wishing to be caught by whatever would emerge. When the spikes finally emerged, I was far enough away to avoid being impaled by all of them, yet I did not evade them all. One of the spikes tore thought my pelvis, one through my chest, and the final one pierced my left shoulderblade. Gasping in pain, and hanging almost limb for a moment, I witnessed my opponent becoming a amorphous shape, losing its form and regaining it moments later. As severely wounded as I was, leaking ectoplasma, these wounds were not catastrophic. And with my sword arm still free, I went about hacking away at the spikes that had pinned me down.
"Thanks." Arakel smiles. "I'm fine with zombies though. I've even made a few. It's just this city. I've never seen anything like it. Where I'm from, everything is basalt bricks, streams of fire and lava and rocks falling from the sky."
Unable to move from the spot with so much biomass threaded through the soil, Mercer mutated his other arm into another whipfist and Launched it at Raziel while he was caught up on the spikes. The blade punched through his shoulder and kept going, causing horrific lacerations in the flesh and bone. The tendon that had passed through whipped round his upper torso, constricting him and causing further lacerations. Mercer grinned and yanked him brutally off the spikes before reeling him in, the tendon acting like powerful elastic. As he did this he drew back the spike nest, bringing the biomass back through the soil slightly slower than he dragged Raziel.
Yukino's smile increases a bit, as she leans up face to face with the swiveling head. She whispers to him, a hint of insanity in her voice. [color=BB66BB] [small] "Who said that was it?" [/small] [/color] At that moment, the sword embedded in Alex's chest explodes into white-hot flames. As the steel around her sword liquifies, she pulls it out of his chest and reenters a fighting stance. [color=BB66BB] "Oh... Yes, it's your turn now~!" [/color] She says as taunts the fireman with a wink.

Alex grins, and he conjures flames on his arm. "Oh little one, if you could only match the atom's fire, I might actually hurt!" He then calmly forms his right hand into a blade, reaches out, and lops off his left hand. He then swings it forward, splattering her with the blood that comes gushing out. "Hope you like the taste!"
Being pulled from the spikes, steams of ectoplasma spilled forth, coating the street below with the liquid. Being reeled in like a fish, however, I proved ever the paragon of resiliance, not loosing focus, even with the wounds. In my hands, spheres of light shined, and when I neared my opponent, I spread my arms to my sides, unleashing a burst of light that carried extreme heat.
