I raised an eyebrow at the man. "It's true though. Noxus is bend on controlling Valoran. We had waged many many wars in the past, only to further spread our glory... Well, at least it used to be like that. And indeed benevolence is a lie. The moment that you show a hint of it, people will try to exploit that. People are greedy creatures, its simply nature. What we do is just, power is what holds people in line because it can never really be misinterpreted."

I sighed, shaking my head. Still along way to go for my Noxian Dream huh? Getting up and start making my way to the door.

Caius scoffed and turned away, leaning against a wall.

"So then power is for ruling? What does that get you?" Bryce asked, seriously engaged into the argument.

Yukino hums to herself as she hops back to the inn. [color=bb66bb] "Maybe... I could use the boost in power from him..." [/color] She mutters to herself as she closes in.

Rex continues his practice outside, ignoring Aisha for the moment.

"Hmm...You know, I don't like being the bad girl, but children need discipline. I'm not always mean you know." Nem said as she bent down to get closer to Holly's level, still smiling sweetly. "Perhaps, to show you this, I could give you a present of some kind..." she added with a sly grin.

"I disagree. I'm curious about your grandpa. Though, I'm afraid he maybe senile. And this is a good way to learn about what interests me." Majeh replied. He looked at Saber.
"And who are you?"

"But...you upset my friend..." She said to Nem, sounding a little sad. "What Sssort of present?" Holly asked raising an eyebrow.

Aisha spots out Rex and with a :3 face, starts to creep up to him.

I turn back around to Bryce. Now what could he possibly want? "It's for simply being the best. Of course there is someone better, but that's the point. To overcome that person and take his or her place. Because you need to prove that you are better at that profession; it's a gut feeling that you have. Demacian's would have called it something like a sport. Noxian motto is that only the strong survive. The weak are pushed down so then they can become stronger as well. It's simply how life is. There is the top of the food chain and the bottom of the food chain. Until animals, sentient beings can change between who's on top, and who's not."

I sighed. "It's not cruel or harsh, or an indicator of chaos. People step down when they truly know that they have been beaten. And they simply find a way to get themselves back to their original position."

"Seems wasteful. Power for the sake of being the best. I can understand getting power to improve your life, or securing power to make your voice heard, but power because gee power sure is swell? Wasteful." Bryce shrugs. "Maybe my opinion is tainted by having to watch almost all of humanity die, but I doubt I'll ever understand your philosophy." Bryce starts heading for the door. "Guess we'll just have to agree to disagree."

Rex continues on, punching pretty hard now. As Aisha creeps up on him, Erica senses her.

I shrugged at the cowboy. "Believe what you will, but that's the society that I was born into. It was because of the Rune Wars we nearly destroyed all life on Runeterra. It's what forced our forefathers to become like that."

Walking towards the door as well, I sighed. "I didn't expect you to understand... Or even my own home to understand now..."

Aisha's ears perked up when Rex stopped and turned to her. "Aww... You're no fun." she giggled. Suddenly adapted a more serious tone she asked. "Practicing I see?"

Holly told Nem she was interested in explosions. "Really? Hmm...I think I may have something for you then." she said. She reached behind her back and brought out a small, glass bottle. "If you were to break this bottle open, it would make quite a bang. I think this is something you'd enjoy. Just be careful with it, okay?" she said as she placed the bottle securely in Holly's hands.

Echo saw all this and just rolled her eyes. Remembering all the gifts Nem had given her over time brought her mood up a bit, but she remembered the most recent "gift" she had gotten and stayed thoroughly angry.

Bryce shrugs, and leaves the inn, walking into the street and beginning his daily ritual of searching for Eve.

Caius frowned night unnoticeably when Yukino approached. Like dealing with this child was not irritating enough... "And I suppose simply asking what interest you is too much trouble?" he distant-mindedly remarked, adressing Majeh.

Seeing the person she had addressed earlier had spaced out or somethin, Yeul turned to Yukino, put on edge by her pressence.
