"The password is in place both to assure the safety of the staff and students, as well as ensure minimalize student drop-out rates, as with but some exceptions, only those that show talent in spellcasting and the drive to learn are given the password." the guard explains to Etho, looking suspiciously as his jetpack.

Tao was no tactition, but even she could determine that things weren't going well for the Legaians. She dashed back into the cellar and pulled Ashely to her feet. "Things aren't looking good out there. We should probably leave, meow." she said to her as she started bringing her to the exit.

OOC: You'd think Media would target Sav or Athena at this point.

Bryce tapped his feet a bit then stood. "Sounds like the fightings dying down. I'm going to go check it out. Anybody else want to come along?"

"...It's...nothing..." Both Ness and Rex replied to whoever they were talking to.

Ness sighed slightly before turning toward Jessica. "And that's because you'll need to keep trying to fix the anomaly... right? If I could, I'd help you, but I still haven't come up with a good enough coordinate system for it yet..." Ness looked up at Bryce and back to Jess. "Do you want to go up?"

Rex shrugged. "Uh... yeah.. I guess I will, unless you've got some tips on using lightning magic for me. ...I also doubt that I'd fit in well enough here to be a student."

Some of the tentacles started to grab onto the shields, aiming to wrench them away from the soldiers using them.
The tentacles which had missed soldiers simply attacked them from behind.
Those which had caught soldiers began to pull them, attempting to smash them into other soldiers. This was simplified by the rain-slicked ground.
When Trilby felt the cold air caused by the ice cube behind him, he leapt to the side, in case it was used as a weapon against him in some way. The sudden motion would make the tentacles jerk to the side, which would possibly catch some soldiers off guard.
Luckily for Trilby, this sudden movement made Marston's shot miss.

 

[Drakmorg]

Nybeth's leg would be in pretty bad shape, having been crushed by the heavy mech. Nybeth seemed to stay fairly calm in the face of the pain. "Well?" He asked the medic, sounding understandably impatient.

Nybeth's soldiers would continue firing upon the Legaians so long as they retained structural integrity, or until they were shot several more times, at which point they would fall over again same as they had before.

"Are you sure? And yes, Fixing the anomaly is my top priority. I've only been able to justify spending time with you because I've no idea where to get back started in that department, so I've been brainstorming the entire time. And since the General had nothing at all for me to do I've still got no ideas." Jessica replied rather glumly to Ness. She shook her head at Ness suggestion to go back up. "Dying down isn't dead." She simply replied.

Marston spotted Trilby and fired at him, trying to wound him, rather than kill.

Hey @Trilby. You can go ahead and say Marston missed because Trilby moved...And why did you have to name your guy Trilby? Now...now I call you @Will. I hope you're happy.

Athena sends a ice shard to strike a Legaian that was about to strike Envy. "Look sharp. What are you magic skills?"

"One moment, sir. Almost done." The medic said to Nybeth.

Nybeth's soldiers continue their work, though a few fall.

Tribly would find it impossible to remove magic shields, but his efforts would manage to knock away some soldiers. But he would hear behind him...
"Look what we have here... Someone trying to cause a problem..."

"It's time that you all surrender. Do so and no harm will befall you. Continue to fight and you won't survive any longer."

"Oh do be more patient, dear. The poor girl looks like she is starved. Do you expect her to speak up?" Amalia said of Rita.
"I suppose. She looks to be about the same age as our son..."

"Are you sure?"Anna asked with a small hint of concern. She then thought for a moment.
"Well, that all depends on what you know... I'd say that you should always be aware that Lightning is a primal force of nature. It's energy itself and should be respected as such. But you should never be afraid of your own power. Knowing how to channel lightning is the most important step. Your body is the battery, so to speak."

OoC: @Outis: I avoid having my own characters fight one another like the plague. It very rarely looks good. Mostly looking rather forced.

OoC: @Furi: Well, They were close to the battle. Actually right in the midst technically. Yukino had started attacking everyone and when he told her to stop, she attacked the Xiphatians. So they fought. Besides, she's looking right at him, too. Why would Envy want to do that if he's gonna ask Savranth and several others to help him explore the tomb? Logically, they could put one and one together the minute they see him transform again.

Ness sighed a bit. "Yes, I'm sure. Well... if there's anything to go off of... I don't think I ever saw any sort of spaceship station on the map for Legaia. A nation so technologically infused should've been able to do so by now. Maybe there's ...something not allowing them to do so?" She scooted a bit closer to Jess. "I'll stay here with you then."

Rex nodded resolutely. "It's nothing. Don't worry yourself." He nodded at Anna's tips, although he already knew what she was saying. Well, there goes that... "I guess I'll see you later, Headmaster. Thank you again." He gave Anna a small wave as he started to head off.

OoC: @Salty, right, wasn't sure how close he was but... at this point it seems that there is no point in trying to help Legaia, Savranth is so OP that any fight he is in he will win.
Also I'm retconning that he was "Roy" instead he should be a nameless soldier, Roy makes no logical sense

Upon hearing mention of a son, Loki began devicing yet another plan. A son? While I expected this, I could not plan on a mere assumption. But now I know for certain, things have changed once more. This could ultimate work in my advantage. he thought for a moment, looking slightly distand-minded as he plotted. Catching himself in the act, he quickly straightened his face, as said, "As she said, she is a modest girl. But a talented mage regardless."
