Good thinking. Did you manage to find anything out?" Hearing Ness, Jessica shrugged at her as her tone went back to neutral to say, "I haven't seen her either. Maybe she just ran off or something."

"Wow! I wisssh I could do that!" Holly smiled happily at Jessica. "What'sss your name Misss? mine'sss Holly!" She looked over at Echo and waved at her.

"Well, it seems there are two types of ghost; the ash ghosts, and semi-transparent ghosts. While both seem to be sentient, only the ash ghosts seem to be capable of speech, however they only appear in Valencheirn, whereas the other type appears in both nations." Brooke summarised. "If we can understand more about the regular ghosts, we could possibly learn more about the ash-ghosts."

@Dot: *Facepalm* But when did she arive there then? I must've missed that.

One of dragonlings pulled out a piece of the goat's entrails and backed away slightly from the corpse. Seeing this, the other dragonling grabbed on to the other end of the entrail and began pulling on it, wanting it for itself. Eventually, the two dragonlings began fighting over it, completely neglecting the rest of the corpse.

Fafnir shifted from her spot and moved over to the corpse and began eating herself.

"Should a Xiphatian use any Legaian tech, it explodes, most likely killing the user. So, yeah it's cursed." the soldier answered Trilby. "Anyway, if by 'Shadow' you mean that psycho that killed two men, then, yeah. We'd appreciate some help with that. You'd probably get a reward if you bring him in too. Dead or alive, it doesn't matter."

"With good behaviour, she might be out in five and a half years. Five at the absolute least." the soldier who had questioned Grace answered Tedd.

"Do you have this covered?" the soldier that had escorted Tedd asked the other soldier, recieving a nod in turn. The soldier saluted, then left the main building, going back to his post outside the gate.

The soldier looked over the recording continuing, wincing once the recording of Rookie's shoulder being molten came up. "Well, shit. Just when you thought you've seen it all." he said once the recording ended. "Hmm. Well, I need to check something with my superior. I'll be right back." With that, the soldier left the cell, raised the barrier, then walked off.

A duo of soldiers who were still searching the area for Shadow heard Maria's call. One of them rushed over while the other continued the search.

Reaching Maria, the soldier was about to ask what was wrong when seeing the answer to that question was quite obvious. "What happened to her?" he asked while at the same time wordlessly offered to carry Lilah.

Luckely for the hooded figure, the hood made it so that no one passing by noticed his mask.

"Alright then. Always good to see people wanting to help. Follow me." the soldier on the left said to Marston.

Rex would find maps both of the world, and local maps on a shelve to the right of the store.

OoC: @Nail, I don't really know, didn't know there was a visitor center. @Salty described it as being an L shaped building, Envy discovered earlier it had about 800 prisoners in it, 100 of them convicted of serious crimes, and I think the building was in the south...west? I think?

Rita came back, though she stayed kind of near where she had hid the legs

Ness listens to Brooke's report and nods a bit. "Interesting..."
Noting Jessica's change in tone, Ness decides to simply nod toward her as well before going to look for another book on ghosts. ...It looks like she did something to Tao. Well, the last I saw of the girl was those portals... Oh... of course... Hopefully, she's not in too much trouble right now...

Rex continues to look through until he picks out decent sized maps for both countries. He walks up to the shopkeep and places them down. "How much for these?"

Yukino walks away from the bases view and uncloacks, humming a bit as she walks along.

"Oh... it seems more like you're cursed. If the technology was cursed, wouldn't it, I dunno, remove your ability to use magic or something? You can't really call something cursed when you destroy it just by letting it come into contact with magic. Plus, y'know, technology is inanimate, and a fairly broad concept." Trilby pointed out as he started to leave.
"But, you're the expert. And yeah, the guy who killed those soldiers is Shadow."

Tedd looked at them, and sighed.
"...God damn it... I suppose I couldn't do anything to get her out? Anythi-"
He falls down, glowing.
"Oh bloody hell..." he mutters, as he grows increasingly bright, suddenly vanishing.

Maria had been roving around the area near the entrance to the town calling out when she approached by a man who appeared to be dressed in military garb and asked a question whilst holding out his hands as if to take the unconscious woman from her. "Oh thank goodness! She's been knocked for a while now and has a gash across her forehead but I'm not sure how deep the wound is!" replied Maria as she lowered Lilah into the man's arms who appeared to be actually a lot heavier than when Maria had been carrying her. "I think she may have got the wound and concussion from when she came flying out of a rift and crashed into a stone wall! I really think she needs medical attention!" Maria said worriedly.

The hooded figure continued surveying the crowds whilst noticing certain people wearing similar kinds of garb. The masked one then murmured in their cold, robotic voice

[color=#003153]"I believe an experiment needs to be conducted right about now."[/color]

The person scanned the crowds again before focusing on one of the men in military garb.

"Well, inter-dimensional travel might be a little dangerous for someone young like you. But I can see about bringing you back some safer magic if you want." Jessica said to Holly, giving her a smile in return. "And my name's Jessica. Or Dr. Broca, if you prefer to be formal about it."
Looking back over at Brooke, she replied, "Interesting indeed. Let me know if you find anything out."

Noting Ness' response, she decided to try and change the subject. "Anyway, I can't really stick around here for very long. Something came up yesterday that made me realize I had to look into something. So I have to leave town to go and do that soon."

Eventually, the soldier who had been dealing with Tophat and Rookie returned, dispelling the barrier once again. "Good news for you. I've spoken to my superior, and because you didn't actually hurt anyone, you're free to go, provided you pay the fine for the propperty damage."

"That would be ten gold in total." the storekeeper answered Rex.

"Yeah, no. That's not how it works." the soldier said to Trilby once he walked off, then returned to his post.

"How long has this person be unconscious for? And where did you find her?" the soldier asked Maria as he was handed Lilah, and was now holding her bridal style. But before he recieved an answer, the soldier turned around and began walking to the main building of the military compound. "Either way, follow me. You can explain on the way."

"Other than how to get there? No, but now that you mention it, how exactly would we go about hiding a dragon?"

OoC: @Nail, that would be fine, the point of it is that he would be getting the layout of the prison. To get past barriers he would attach himself to a shoelace or something as a fly while people move between the barriers.

The Rookie nodded, then glanced at Tophat.
(To the soldier: Is there any possibility we could work to repay for the damage dealt? If you want, I could quite easily serve as a interogator. There is one more thing, as well. It might not be much for you, but it is important for me.)
The Rookie took the datapad, and displayed the recording of Sasuke attacking the hospital room. Not much of the attack was visible, as the Rookie had fled out the window. But Sasuke's flight on top of a bird was shown, and his face was visible.[/i])

Ness closed her book and nodded, her tone neutral. "I see... What is that thing you need to research? Also... if you're leaving, I'd like you to get me to my car. I need to check on something."

Rex took out ten coins and plopped them on the counter, leaving 9 in his pockets. He takes the maps and starts to read them. "So... Around Rockbyrd and across that way... or... try to not get detected near the Legaian base. ...Seems like fun either way."

Yukino eventually makes her way into Lakewest and hums as she looks around.

@Nile, yep, but as always, Ridcully is stuck somewhere plot-important. Because Discworld Magic crossed with Quantum is annoying.

At Ness's Car, Ridcully appears to be fast asleep on the roof of the car.
