Suddenly the segmented tail shot out of Cast Aways back once more, aiming to intercept Cybil with its pincer like appendages and sieze her. It discharges its tesla impulse before fully charged at Reinhardt as he charges, a weaker shot but the with the pressure on it had to resort to that. Unable to configure and generate a field array in time for Sylvia's energy bursts Cast Away was counting on being able to grab Cybil to use as a shield. It would attempt to break away should the impulse stall Reinhardt enough.

Cast Away seems astonishingly adaptive to situations but it mostly reacts rather than acts due to relying on external data input at this stage. Currently Cast Away has been unable to think many moves ahead as it simply takes in the information for the current attacks and how to react. Put simply it has no intuition and those fighting it may have noticed this.

Zevrisya hopped back onto her feet, staring at Cast Away intently, the iris of her eye slowly turning bright red. After a short pause, she closed her eye and hurled her cane like a javelin. Despite the other people rushing in to attack CA, and Zev aiming blind, the chances of Zev missing her target and harming her allies were almost impossibly slim.

Sarah now knew the place of the base, unless the signal was somehow disturbed. (OoC: You should state the place in your last post, Vakra)

[color=99d039]"I ... forgot."[/color] Sarah said, notably embarrassed. She put in some commands on her phone, and the tracer had a short circuit, making it to a useless piece of metal.

"These," Candace held up her blade and pistol, "speed, and years of experience."

Reinhardt, seeing his allies attack, abruptly cut the boosters, skidding to a stop just in front of Cast Away but with enough momentum remaining that he could utterly smash Cast Away with his hammer if the opportunity presented itself.
Lambda, scanning Cast Away, realised its tactics or lack thereof. "It's not planning g anything, it's just reacting to us." she called to her team mates.

The eyes of Rinia's mask began glowing, and she scanned the pistol to see how it functioned. [color=cc0099]"Anything else? Magic, for example?"[/color]

The pistol was a fairly standard six shot revolver, though it had a but more kick than others of its kind and was heavily decorated with shining nickel covering, detailed engravings, gold trim, and a pearl grip. "Well, I could acquire net to make it easier to capture..."

70 miles east of Cape Town, Graver Research labs

Nestled in low lying hills a good distance away from any civilisation the Graver Research labs are located. Helena notices the AI drops its anomaly report and cycles back into idle. A trace, most likely otherwise it would have no reason to vanish like that and remain so untraceable. With a curt nod she issues the orders. The immortals stationed in and around the base cease patrolling or standing idle and begin systematically hunting down anyone not a part of Tombstone in the base to scrub it clean. Gilson had anticipated this a few minutes earlier and feigned a bathroom break to dart back to his office and send an encrypted message along the signal that traced them, just as he heard the gun shots start.

Helena announced "We're moving off, integrity compromised. Recall Cast Away, wipe the servers and bring the data."
In front of her Imogen sat impassively as the few Graver staff in the ops centre are gunned down. She smirked knowing she was integral to the next phase of Cast Away and would be leaving with Tombstone.

Cast Away dodges Zevrisya's thrown weapon by a millimetre as it carves through the top layer of its synthetic flesh before passing it. To clear space it begins cracking with electricity as it prepares to release an energy pulse. Dalahar, in daemon form comes barrelling for Cast Away, gibberish and clawing.

"Whatever." Nova replied dismissively. "So where are those cockroaches hiding out?"

Cybil reacted with supernatural reflexes to match her abnormal speed, twisting at the last possible moment to let the claw nearly graze her it lashed out. She took her swing and continued running as Sylvia fired.

Reinhardt swung with his hammer, trying to crush Cast Away with an overhead swing while avoiding attacking his allies.

 

[Silence]

[color=99d039]"East of capetown, apparently. Seems like they had a base here before the invasion ..."[/color]

[color=e50000]"I'll keep her from dying, but not from being harmed.

... and I probably can roast anyone of your creatures, unless it is immune to fire."[/color]

Rinia raised her hand up, palm towards Candace, and said, [color=cc0099]"Punch me as hard as you can."[/color] She then glanced over at Dala and said, [color=cc0099]"Some of them are."[/color]

Upon opening her eyes, Zev noticed her cane wasn't currently embedded in Cast Away's body. Looking a little stunned, she rushed around the fight to retrieve her weapon, and waited for an opening.

Candace did so. She was surprisingly strong for a woman of her size, but still within reasonable limits.

When Candace's hand impacted with Rinia's hand, she would be entirely unable to move it, and it would feel a little more solid than a normal hand. A glowing green circle would appear over the palm, displaying on it in white numerals the force of Candace's punch. [color=cc0099]"You are pretty strong, I'll admit. But probably not strong enough to restrain a Pahana Vatra with a net."[/color]

Cast Away releases a burst of electricity around it, the charge making it dangerous to be close by. It then weaves itself around its attackers and backs off so it isn't surrounded as Dalahar thuds past everyone to continue charging, gibbering all the while.

Reinhardt followed Dalahar, worried about the possesed man.

[color=cc0099]"Possible, I suppose."[/color] Rinia said, as the green circle fades away and she lowered her hand.

Zev slowly backed away, looking at the others. [color=660099]"What the fuck do we do about this?"[/color] she asked, pointing at Dalahar.
