Sorry for taking so long to check back. I checked all the character sheets and read the posts, the characters do look very interesting, from the ones without character sheets, they seem...well I like the potential nuttiness, let's go with that, lol. I think I could be on board with something like this, with my unfortunate unemployment, I'm pretty open at the moment.

So far this idea looks, with a bit of work, like it could take off! And as a poster earlier mentioned about the League of Super Evil, I saw that show too an episode or two, wasn't spectacular but had the kind of humor I can somehow see on this webcomic, but yeah, it was somewhat shallow, and focused on the main cast, and was kind of a kiddie humor, I sort of see this as a more intelligent humor.
Yeah I'll work on the remaining character sheets as well. Lately I've been just wanting to get most of the main characters drawn and ready to pose. Right now I'm working on a sort of "pilot" to set up the whole premise in one strip. Something that sets up some plot points and gives us room to elaborate later on. I think this will be fun. Welcome aboard mate.
Definitely understandable, glad to be aboard. :D

Here are some of the everyday citizens of Zoar City, they will provide the contrast and single gags that will take place in between story lines and such.

From left to right, Henry the Psychiatrist, Amy the Banker, Bob the Unemployed moocher, and Dave the Salesman/Cop/Cross-dresser.

Still need some racial diversity and whatnot though. Zoar City is looking like a pretty vanilla city so far. Any ideas for some new characters?

Hmm...how about a business worker caught up in the rush of everyday life? His eyes stare blankly ahead as he goes about his repetitive work day. He craves variety, but he doesn't know how to work it into his ordinary day at the office, so he doesn't change anything in his life. He loves bright colors and pretty objects, and he's prone to being caught up in things that look even mildly interesting.

That was a bit random...oh well. This comic is going to feature a man who dresses as a koala as a central character, so I suppose randomness is the least of anyone's worries at this point.

Good idea, but I already have the "office worker" guy, George, to fill the role of "Stressed man" but a few of those personality traits are easily transferable over to Bob the unemployed guy. I hadn't had a defined personality for him yet so thanks.

And yes these stories are turning out to be a bit random, but I'm hoping that the reality of the city world and the everyday things that could easily happen where YOU live can somewhat contrast that and ground the comic deeper into reality.

Once again thanks for your support and stay tuned for more updates as we progress the comic along.

How about another villain, Blue Collar Man. His power is to appear like a harmless person but he takes it a bit too seriously (and is not evil at all)

You could make him black for racial diversity (and to get some Left 4 Dead puns for the fuck of it :))

That'd be funny.

I have an idea for a civilian. You could make one of the civilians an "artsy" guy (beret, black clothing, square glasses, goatee),who constantly comments on how everything is not up to his standarts.

Haha yeah that'd actually be great, it can also occasionally provide some fourth wall humor in the case of me being an artist as well. I'll get on it.

Another idea for a civilian! You could make one of the civilians a paranoid,tin-foil hat wearing conspiracy theorist. He always suspects something and never trusts anyone,he KNOWS about Koala's tomfoolery (but overestimates his threat),he's sure that the aliens are among us,and he is never listened to.

And to top it off,his long-lost (they don't remember eachother) identical twin works for top-secret spy agency, and he once got photographed while on duty.

Wow these ideas aren't bad at all, thanks for the help, I'll make sure to give this twin character a good defined look. That aside, I still need to come up with a way to introduce the main storyline in a 3-5 panel joke. Thats gonna be tough. The pilot still needs some writing.

How about that.

PANEL 1: Panorama of Zoar City. Sun is shining brightly.

Variant of a text: - Ahh,Zoar City. One nice place to live. Everyone lives happily and works productively, like a well - oiled machine.

PANEL 2: Panorama of Zoar City. Sun has just set - there's still a bit of red light coming from where it was.

- But not everything is fine in Zoar City. One man is already plotting it's downfall...

PANEL 3: View of Koala's hands - he is putting one of his gloves on.

- Nothing will stop him. He is plotting and scheming, and will not hesitate to do horrible, horrible things. He is...

PANEL 4: Hitler Cam view of a Vengeful Koala. His hands are propped on his waist. Moon takes up most of the background.

- ...Vengeful Koala.

PANEL 5: Full-height view of a VK. It is revealed that he stands on a box by one foot. Jaguarman stands nearby and says:

- Aren't you overdoing it a little?

AWESOMESAUCE! :D "Shut up and narrate!" gag is ingenious! Only minor problem is lighting in 2nd panel - i thought more of an orange, but whatever,it's fine the way it is.

Yeahh there was a lot of issues as to what panel 2 would look like, I tried many different colors but in the end decided upon red. Well I must say, your simple humor may very well come in great big chunks of handiness, so consider yourself one of the joke writers if you accept the "position"

I humbly accept honorary position of a part-time joke writer. My humour is like butter sandwich - uncomplicated, yet tasty. I've just sent you another batch of ideas.
