Weird internet behavior

I've noticed something about myself recently. I have a very distinct pattern of internet use. I get on the Escapist, look through the active threads, see if any of my favorite groups are active, and if nothing is going on, I leave. Then, I go to facebook, and if I don't have any messages or updates, instead of going to any of the other sites I use, I immediately come back to the Escapist to see if anything of interest has occurred in the 3 minutes since I had just checked it. After almost every site I look at following that I go back to the Escapist as well.

My question is, have you guys ever noticed somewhat strange, borderline obsessive, behavior in yourself concerning a website or the internet in general.

Yeap, whenever nothing much is happening, I go through all the tabs on my browser, checking emails... webcomics (although there's never a new one in the space of 2 hours..) etc.

Always end up back at the Escapist xD I really don't have much to do in the evenings.

Theoretically?
You have to separate the logic part of your brain, then run like fuck to a giant saw.
Then, before the elasticity of your arms snaps you back to the computer, cut them off.
And run to a hospital. You'll have lost your arms, but you'll be FREE!

I do this like...every five minutes.

The Escapist is like Blizzard's Terms & Conditions contract. One you agree, they've got your soul.

I do the same as the OP, go on The Escapist, go on facebook, go on Spotify, try to roll away from the computer to do homework, they stay on The Escapist until I'm tired.

I do the exact same thing, except instead of facebook i visit a different forum.

Its like, ive got something else to do, but just minute, there must be something new and interesting on the forum. Aww, there isn't. Well, lets check the Escapist again! And the circle continues.

11pm: Come home from work, turn on comp, check Email, read escapist, play CS, play CoD4, return to escapist, read news, return to escapist, play L4D, return to escapist, sleep at 4am.
