When I was little: I would slowly inch my way up to the TV until I was literally inches away from the screen. I would be so into the game that I wouldnt even know I did it until my mom came in and told me my eyes would fall out.

Now: I talk to the character I'm playing with and also blame him when I start to fail. If you walk in on me you might hear something like "Are you fucking serious, Mario!? He's a fucking goomba! You just got your ass kicked by a retarded looking fungus!".

Also I tend to say "ow" when I get sneak attacked.

I sit up allot. When I was little and playing the N64 I used to jump and stuff like that. I will also sometimes make mono log, like in the all ghillied up from CoD4 I'll make a briefing that goes ruffly "we want him DEAD Price, DEAD." but longer and with more effect. I also do that in fallout3, but everyone does that, right? Right? RIGHT?

About a few years back, I was playing one of the Medal of Honor games with my cousin (taking turns on single player). Several missions in, my cousin asked me to stop cracking one-liners so much. That moment, I looked back at the things I had been saying up to that point, my favorite being when I killed a Nazi who was on a toilet and quipped, "That's a crappy way to die," completely straightfaced, and without realizing I had said that until the moment it was brought to my attention. Probably the weirdest thing I had ever done while gaming.

i stand on one leg, raise my arms into the air, press all the wrong buttons all while singing "she'll be comin' 'round the mountain" 5 times...

I do a lot of leaning the controller the direction I want to go and my tongue sticks out the side of my mouth when I'm concentrating really hard. In other words I look ridiculous while gaming.

It depends on the game....

-I get way too into the God of War series, or anything nearly as violent....particularly durin' th'minotaur struggle when you're stickin' th'blades in his mouth i'll find myself yelling "EAT IT!!! EAT IT" and a very loud "RRRAAAHHHH" once i succeed....

-everytime i have a true "batman moment" (my term for anything unbearably cool....easier accomplished thanks to Arkham Asylum), i do a very pauly-shore-esque grunt....or a very loud "F*CKING RIGHT!!!"

-I'm also fond of quoting whatever my character says durin' dialogue trees in RPG's...it's my way of findin' out which one i'd be more likely to say m'self since i always try to play the game as if i myself was in that world...hey, that's what these games are for right?

-and o'course, the usual over-the-top headbanging durin' a guitar hero/rock band session when i'm really gettin' into th'song...

Becoming silent and withdrawn. I also start to mumble things. And squint. And stand up. And reach out to grab non-existent glasses of coca cola.

My girlfriend thinks I'm weird because of the focused look on my face while I'm playing. Not really sure why: sometimes a real serious and intense story event happens, and sometimes a situation just requires concentration. But whatever: I'll get her to understand someday...

I don't really do anything beyond talk to the other players on TF2 (I praise kills and complain when I get hard-done by) without a mic, so I'm kinda just commentating to myself

My mate, Ben, does all sorts of retarded shenanigans. He does the standard "lean as character/car goes around a corner" thing, commentates with great egotism and...this is the worst of all...he kinda hunches up and gapes his mouth in a spasming kinda way when he does anything more difficult than a jump.

It's really annoying, it makes him look like such a prat

Commentating and talking about what I am doing in general like I'm in full blown conversation. Worst when playing sports games, but none are immune. Been playing Jonah Lomu Rugby today and commentated on it for a full 2 hours!
