People tend to make weird assumptions about me. Many people assume I'm 5 years younger than I am since I actually know how to shave and have a quality razor. Also, being 4 inches shorter than most people helps too. Also, many people think I'm Hispanic, which is strange since I'm half White and Half Asian.
But the crowning one for me was when I was 9 years old. California water is butt-freezingly cold, so to not catch hypothermia, I had to always wear a wetsuit. One time, my leash from my body board wasn't secured so I fell off completely into the ice cold water. A diver however, was unfortunately nearby and called to his friend that an "otter" was nearby and to get the camera. The guy took the picture of me.
What was the weirdest assumption made about you.

That takes the cake, buddy...

Best I've got is people thinking I'm either a Freshman (I still don't get thier logic) or Emo (Just because I wear all black doesn't make me emo...)

I was once pointed out for looking like Jim Carrey even though I have none of his traits. (not even eye or hair color)

Many people assume that I am quite a stud at my school.

Truth be told, I don't have enough charisma to fell up a bottle cap.

I had a rough 7th and 8th grade. Completely ruined socially. Only now just getting over the effects.

People always seem to assume I'm deadly serious about everything for some reason. No, just very dry-- I crack deadpan a LOT. There's a big difference.

Anyway, it's weird to me, because I know I'm joking, so why don't they get it, too?

A lot of people think I'm smart. It's the glasses. Goddam stereotype.
... Yes, I'm admitting that I'm dumb. :p

Yeah, this one time, a girl in my class walked up to me for advice. She began, "Well, you play games, right? So you're into all that weird, fetish stuff, right?"
I played along, and consequently, no one wants to talk to me anymore.

People think I'm a loud, outspoken aggressive person.

On the internet, sure I am, but IRL I tend towards the other end of the spectrum.

I don't talk a lot, and the default expression on my face, I've been told, is somewhat pissed off and dismissive. Combined with the habit I have of spacing out and staring and random things when I'm bored in class, this has led some people to assume that I hate them.

People sometimes mistake me as the younger sibling.

I hired this guy to take care of them.

People assume I never cut my hair, just because I don't cut it down to like 2 inches long.

Doesn't it get hot though? And I honestly have no idea how someone would have mistaken me for this:

I was in high school when Columbine happened, and I liked Depeche Mode just a little too much. People thought I was going to go nuts and start killing people.
The truth was that I was a vegan nerd who loved my cats and watching the x files.

People always assume I'm unhappy. That isn't true, I'm just angry most of the time. The look on my face apparently does not always give this away.

That makes for an awesome story either way.

And surprisingly, no. It's perfectly fine in the winter as things tend to balance out, but so far now that it's getting hotter the only thing that's bothered me is my black jeans, which I recently switched out for my black shorts. I still wear a T-shirt (usually black but I switch it to a featureless green/red every now and then.) and my black jacket and feel normal all day.

that as a girl i couldnt learn yugioh on my own....right

let me set this straight

1)i am a girl
2) yes i play yugioh
3) i started when i got two decks on discount (one yugi, one kiba) when the game first came out. up to this time wed been passing my GB color back and forth at lunch and gone through about $45 in AA batt, so i needed something new to fill our time.

Now im at a big tourney, i just beat this guy.... badly. and he says

"Whoa, you play this good! i need to meet the boyfriend who taught you how. That would be a real challenge"

thankfully someone with him read the death glare i gave the speaker correctly and kept him out of my way for the rest of the day
