On CTF_Turbine in the vents I managed to face reflect 1 rocket and managed to kill a sniper engineer and a soldier as well as a dispenser I really didn't see it coming and they all just blew up.

That's a pretty recent one.

I was playing earth defence force 2017 today, and a simply epic moment occurred. I was playing the level that revealed a giant four legged walking fortress. It dropped several mechs, which I proceeded to kill with my hyper powered rocket launcher. The explosions from the mechs covered the walleyed for a second, before it lurched out of the fire, invincible like the nightmare that inspired "terminator". It was a truly "war of the worlds" esque moment, the metal leviathan rising from the fire as if to laugh at humanities pathetic attempt at resistance. I thought to myself, this is exactly what battle LA should have been like.

It was just perfect coincidence. The angle I was looking at it from, the background, the timing. It was really a surprisingly serious moment in a game featuring giant bugs and a fire breathing robot dinosaur.

A question we have all asked ourselves at one point or another. You'll sit there, controller in hand and eyebrows raised, wonder just how on Earth you managed to do that. Whether it be in Single Player or in Multiplayer, what have you done in a game that you have never managed to repeat again? A once in a lifetime thing.

I once completely carried a game in TF2. I had the most kills, least deaths and I had captured the briefcase the most (I didn't get it two, maybe three times)

Which is surprising because I suck. (lawl)

I have carried TF2 game before, mostly because I refuse to become the teams 5th spy and goes medic. Being a good Heavy can push a team to victory as well.

Beating Demyx in Kingdom Heart 2.

He was throwing me all over the place and I was barely managing to stay alive through it, and for the love of god I didn't know how to get past his water jets.

Well something in my subconscious must've worked it out, because suddenly I started to wipe the floor with him without so much as getting touched... without even thinking about what I was doing.

Seriously, it was like I was in some sort of trance or something!

I still don't know how I did it or if I could even beat him again.

FFXII: Chaining 33 Quickenings on Zeromus. I just got into the zone. After that though, I was jumping up and down on my bed yelling "GET OUT OF MY HOUSE"

More recently, I was playing a game Dark Extermination on Frozen Synapse with my brother and I used a rocket to take our his entire squad in one shot. Glorious.

Hitting an explosive barrel with the crowbar in Half Life 2. I thought it was 'Mental note: never do that again'. That's how much I suck at life.

I beat Gauntlet: Dark Legacy in an arcade with only one life. I was at that machine for a good couple of hours. hahaha

On the subject of Halo 3:

My friend and I were playing through the campaign for the first time on Legendary. Being the nerds we are, we had the Star Wars Soundtrack Anthology playing on my laptop. As we ended the first level, where you detonate the Nuke, the soundtrack for the first movie was ending.

The part where the Death Star is about to fire, but then it explodes instead was playing as we rushed into the elevator.

Start at 10:55 and imagine that is when you rush into the elevator. Right as the Death Star explodes, the music crescendos. Right as the music crescendos, the Nuke went off on screen, and we both looked at each other, our jaws agape, and then busted out laughing. Sure, it took us an hour to beat the first level, but the incredible timing was beyond worth it.

The next round I was the third person to die. So much for my invincibility. Maybe they were targeting me after that.

That happens to me a lot on HAWX. I was drunk one time (remember, drinking and flying is wrong, unless you can back it up, like I do) and we were doing 4 on 4 Team Death Match. I was in an F-15 ACTIVE, NOT using all-aspect missiles. I spawn in, cook off four multi-missiles, which ALL HIT. The enemy team spawns in, so I do it again. Three hit. The fourth falls to my guns. Then the enemy team spawns in AGAIN. I take two of them out with Multis, then dogfight with the last two, taking them out in short order with my Joint Strikes. All four respawn at about the same time... And ALL gun for me at the same time. I take one of them down again, but they all popped off as many missiles as they could. The screen literally was filled with streaking missiles after my plane exploded.

I am guessing they used my favorite "I am pissed, fuck you" strategy. You pop off with a multi-missile, switch to J-strikes, pop off two of them, then switch to whatever other missile you can.

I managed an 8x kill streak one time while drunk, but I haven't matched that 13x kill streak since then...

First time in about a year or two of playing Killing Floor, playing as Field Medic because I'm good at it, joins a game, totally laggy, 3 out of 5 dies within 1 minute.

The rest of the game, me and one more single handedly killed 200 zombies while not even getting close to death, twas epic.

I did that not a week ago
It just feels so awesome when it's you and one other guy, and the entire match rests on your shoulders.

Was playing a king of the hill game in TF2 whe had 5 minutes left and the enemy got their counter down to overtime, we took the base and held it untill we won.

Was playing GTA4, and lost control of my chopper. Bounced off ground at perfect angle (Was on five stars) And there was a massive roadblock ahead of SWAT and cops who were all shooting me. THe chopper kept going forward, the blades killed absolutely everyone and threw all the bodies/cars in different directions. This also shattered my blades, forcing me to make an unexpected landing on top of another cop car that had turned up, somehow crushing the cops who had just gotten out. More games need a saved film/theatre mode like Halo and Driv3r.

That, and just about any stunt I pull out of my ass while playing Just Cause 2.
