And was there anything you wanted but never went on sale of never went down in price enough?

The only thing That never want cheap enough was IL-2 Sturmovik cliffs of dover

And finally what sales regrets do you have as far as missing a sale?

Mine was not getting assault on dark athena for 10 bucks

Overall it was decent sale but not as cool as last year not as many things dropped into the 75% range like last year and it seemed like there weren't many games that really jumped out at me for the most part

Farcry III (fun game for what it was): 50sih dollars
Towns. (fun game)...i dunno. 10-15ish.
Rage: 5 dollars(and not even worth that)
Fable III 40ish dollars(so disappointing: I wait and wait for game to start, and then it just ends before you DO ANYTHING (final boss was pathetic, and..wasn't it supposed to be a RPG?)
Natural Selection II 9 dollars (that game is HARD! i play meepo instead for break.)
Also some items and keys for DOTA II.
I'm broke now :(

Mine was surprisingly small. Just Left 4 Dead and Counterstrike Anthology, totalling less than $20. I'm proud of myself. Now I'm looking in the direction of don't Starve... It's on sale... Fuck...

Dark Souls and Batman: AC. Only 2 games but it cost me around $50 NZD which is more than I spent at last steam winter sale since I usually buy older games.
Those were the only games I was planning to buy. It was fortunate I was able to get them because I didn't have internet access for the majority of the time the sale was on.

The Walking Dead, Skyrim, Far Cry 3, Spec Ops The Line, Xcom, Lone Survivor, Hotline Miami, FTL Faster than Light, Mark of the Ninja.

I bought a new PC just before the Steam Sale, I already own Skyrim on Xbox, but that thing is just fucking ugly compared to the PC version, as well as all the awesome mods.

Far Cry 3 is absolutely lush.

Walking Dead is without a doubt the best purchase I made all year.

Borderlands 2. £15

SF4 skins. About £2.
Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit. About £3.
Civ 5 Gods & Kings. About £3 from Green Man Gaming.

I might've gotten more if I wasn't skint.

Hehe, well I haven't actually tried yet. I have most on PS1 and Xbox already but I stored those in 2011 and picked these up for the future. I will install the first 3 and let you know this weekend.
I run Windows 7

Oblivion GOTY
Monkey Island 1+2
Deponia
Torchlight
Binding of Isaac DLC
FTL
The Witcher

and all for like $20-25

I would have liked the GOTY for Fallout 3 or New Vegas to be on sale though. It would really only be about the DLC, so I don't want to pay anywhere near full price.

50% - GTA Collection (DLC for IV included)
75% - Ghost Recon Collection (doesnt include Future Soldier but more 10? wasnt worth it)
75% - Rainbow Six 3 Gold
75% - Splinter Cell Collection (doesnt include Pandora Tomorrow but I have that one on CD)

Forgot to buy the DLC for Splinter Cell Conviction, I thought the Deluxe edition included that.

Overall: 30?, and could have gone 7? cheaper if I had waited for GTA to go 75% as it did later down the sale

Dark Souls and The Walking Dead. Which, all told, was roughly 32 bucks.

If I had a snazzier computer and a source of income, I'm sure I would have bought a lot more.

Nice grab. Tomb Raider III remains my favorite, and a big staple of my childhood.

OT: I got Saints Row II when it was on sale and Dark Souls with subsidization, that's it.

Only a DLC pack for The Binding of Isaac and Mirror`s Edge. In total, 3 euros. Yeah, i don`t spend a lot. That`s the way I roll.
