Well, why did you pick your username?

It is what I named my dwarf Rune-keeper in LOTRO. It sounded very dwarf-ish. I ended up really liking that character, so I use it for almost everything now. Except for my x-box live gamertag, which is Glouriousbeard89.

Was stuck for a name when starting my WoW character. There was a name badge in front of me and just joined the first few letters of the first and last name and thought it worked well. It just stuck from then on.

gdf, short for Global Defense Force, taken from the video game Godzilla: Unleashed despite the name also being used by other franchises.

Mine is from my favorite book, Catch 22. The books describes the eponymous catch starting with: "There was only one catch, and that was Catch 22."
And the picture I've got is of a B-25 Bomber (which feature prominently in the book) coloured in the style of the original book cover.

Once upon a time I was writing a book where one of the characters was very "power behind the throne". Very unassuming, but always seemed to have far more control over things than anyone really should. The book has since been altered beyond recognition, and Zantos is now Zander, but it's a nice reminder of what it used to be about.

Pretty much because I've been using it(and slight Variations) for years. I used it for my old email, my Xbox Live account, PSN, my DA etc. So it pretty much stuck.

Aether was the name of one of my favourite Fire Emblem character; Ike's special attack. x3 is just added on since aether would most likely be taken.

I made it up on a whim, I had plenty of nicknames and my favorite were Jesus, (Jesus with a J not an H), and Han. Adding on a tidbit and bam, username since I could point and click people's heads off.
