I wasn't, hell it was only in the last two years that I even started gamming, I use to have a badass leather jacket, a motor bike (Who I was my little baby who I nicknamed two tons of steel), switchblade, and of course a scar on my back from a literal back stabber

It was a year and a half ago now, I got into a fight with this guy over how he was treating a lady at a party I was at, to make a long story short I won.... Well he didn't like that and knew I took me and my two tons of steel out for a ride each Saturday on this old abandoned air strip, he broke some bottles, took some nails, and even planted knifes in the ground to stop me, to be easy it did, and it hurt.

Broken bruised and bleeding I took me and what was left of my baby to the hospital, I was hospitalized for two weeks, I wouldn't ride for the next three years says the doctor, I wouldn't walk for the next few weeks says the doctor, I couldn't do shit... But I could game... and so began my new life.... As a gamer....... Would I take the old life back... Maybe 50/50.....

But what bout you? Were you a badass before you gamed? Were you a rugby king? A football star? Or born a gamer and always a gamer?

When I was 5 I was the most popular kid in school. Then everyone else grows up and nice does not mean cool any more. Nerd ever since, though more recently I actually started acting like one.

I'm actually one of the jockish gangsters at my school.

Anyone calls me a nerd, me and my gang beat them up. Sounds fun, eh?

By asking that question, you are insinuating that I am currently a nerd.

You have both insulted and defamed me, sir, and I will not stand for it. I demand satisfaction!

Pick your pistol of choice and meet me by the waterfront at 7:00 tomorrow evening. We will fight to the death.

Haha, that's the way it is around here, too.
Gaming around here is actually "cool", for lack of a better word. But our gaming seems to involve the buzzwords "Halo", "COD", and "zombies".
Actually, I only like the last one.

Gaming does not make you a nerd. Being socially awkward, prefering a fantasy world to the real one, and being uber smart makes you a nerd. Although I like nerds, i have many nerd friends... as socially awkward as they are they are fun...sometimes.

I guess so. I've been playing games ass long as I can remember, so I guess that counts. However, I don't really get called a nerd much.

I've always had nerdly elements. I've always been proud of playing video games D&D and Magic cards since I was about 5 years old and I think I've loved dragons for as long as I've known about them. But I don't really consider myself a "nerd" I just do a lot of fucking nerdy things.
Yes there's a fucking difference.

I was always a little weird. I think since I became a nerd I started being slightly less weird...if you understand.

Hell, I got more friends and go to more partys as a geek than I did as just a plain weirdo (aka none)

I was always going to be a gamer and a tech. Since the age of 4 it has been known that I've had an aptitude for this sort of thing - mostly figured out after I was found inside a locked military office playing games on a computer that was meant to be locked down. Ever since then (well, since I was old enough to be doing these sorts of things for money) I've been in the business of security and IT - mostly penetration tests. Does being a professional (honest) thief and cracker count as badass? I always just figured I was one man fulfilling a role.

More or less. I was never in the popular circles at school, never particularly good at sport either. Although, whether it was because my school was more tolerant or because I wasn't too much of a nerd, I managed to avoid being a social outcast. Yay for me!

I think I have been a gamer since I was about 10 or so. When I first played Sega, I fell in love! And then me and my sister got our first console, N64. It got me hooked!

I would say I am a little computer nerd. I do love to read, learn (though I dont find myself uberly smart), and I was the weird, chubby little girl that never talked to anyone when I was in Elementary school and in 6th and 7th grade.

I haven't always been a nerd but I have always been a tomboy. I liked boy things. Transformers, G.I.Joe, Thundercats, Silverhawks, and Voltron....
Granted I also liked My Little Pony and She-Ra, but I didn't rediscover pink until I was past 21. I'm sercure enough in my girlieness to wear it again.
I still prefer Star Trek and Terminator to (insert number of) Dresses and The Notebook. Action > Sniffles.

Well, I have two out of three. I am not uberly smart but I tend to be socially akward and I live in my own little fantasy world (I like it better then reality).

I have to say... as weird as nerds can be... I love nerdy guys! My ex-fiance is a D&D nerd and I have a crush on one of his friends who is a D&D and computer/gamer nerd. ^^

No, i have always been a member of the superior nerd race, i even can make a reference saying that in Starcraft, the best units in the game were the light and dark templars, not the behemoth ultralisks

I started out a nerd, and I remain a nerd to this day, though a few years ago, I started to become a little less nerdy and a little more sexy. Now, I consider myself a sexy-cool nerd.
