Well, that's where you have to see the subjectivity of comedy.
I for one found the arms sketch to be pretty amusing. Saying such comedy is "unacceptable behavior" is an utterly meaningless statement because it's only unacceptable to [i/]you[/i].
Well, saying that sketch is okay is saying that its okay mock somebody who received similar injuries under similar circumstances on the basis of their injury. Thats what that means.
Not sure what your point is here. I still found it funny as did other people. "Okay" is just as meaningless as "acceptable" or "unacceptable". If something makes me laugh, I'll support it regardless of the person.

This reminds me of a discussion I had with a close friend of mind. We're both athiests, but I was upset by an atheist group labeling themselves as the "United Church of Bacon", as its thinly veiled mockery of other people's genuine religious beliefs. Being an atheist, I think they're wrong, but I'm not pointing and laughing at them because they're "stupid" for having such beliefs because you aren't stupid for simply having religious beliefs. Some people, on the other hand, think its perfectly fine to call anybody who holds a religious belief an idiot and openly mocks them as them, and they're fine with it. Thats subjectivity, but that doesn't mean I have to be okay with it.

See, this I can get behind. You're right. You absolutely do not have to be okay with it. It's just that when you start calling things unacceptable, it sounds like you're trying to dictate what others should feel.

As for this comic, I'm not sure how any of this relates. It isn't mocking Tumblr people for being transgender, it's mocking all the silly terms they come up with to describe themselves.
And has anybody in this thread come up with actual examples of this happening? Nope, no legitimate ones. The only time I ever see somebody mocking this idea is when its dealing with transgender people, or when they're mistaking satire[footnote]And I do check for the origin, and its always been satire circumstances when it wasn't related to transgender people.[/footnote] for legitimacy. Today's comic strip is targeting transgender people.[/quote]
So the one about the ship parts was satire? Because that would be a classic example. If not that one, then the various "ph" words are also pretty easy targets.
Otherwise, I see a distinct difference between making fun of the silly words people want used and mocking the people themselves. It's a huge leap to go from "Poking fun at funny word usage" to "Targeting transgender people".
