Yea. Japan to the rescue. Theres no problem that can't be solved with enough ninjas, giant robots, or androgynous protagonists with funky hairstyles.

Anyway, a nuclear winter would suck hardest, as it would amount to slow death by starvation for most of the world, and a quick*er* one by radiation poisoning or impact for the people at the impact zones. Zombie apocalypses are nothing, as long as it doesn't hit the marathon runners first ala 28 days/weeks. Old school zombies can be easily cleaned up with a quick Turn Undead
