What are some things you "should" be ashamed of, but you're PROUD of it instead?

It's almost like Millenial is a BS term that is just a bunch things people dislike and isn't really attributed to an age at all.
As far as I can tell, it's basically a shorthand for the older generation to call the younger one lazy and entitled and something something avocado toast and participation trophies.

Also destroying golf and home ownership by buying too many pokemans or something like that(though I'm still unsure why I'm supposed to be sad if Golf dies).

Lying my way out of a family vacation twice, and one of those times was after basically being caught red-handed on the first attempt

As for my own thing, it's that I really dig "cheesy" powermetal. It's one of those genres that gets a lot of shit for some reason, but I love listening to it and I love playing it.
In similar fashion: There will always be a place on my phone for Metal Gear Rising's soundtrack.

I routinely watch youtube videos, and ENJOY AND APPRECIATE THEIR CONTENT, and do not click 'like'.

Also, I sometimes literally 'laugh out loud' at a post on facebook, yet, DO NOT CLICK THE LAUGHING REACT EMOJI, or even 'like' the post.

I am literally Snake Pliskin the lack of fucks I give.

Y'know, I can't really talk too much, since I haven't liked or commented that often, but to never have done it?

While I know that writing and video-making isn't necessarily 1:1, feedback tends to be my lifeblood, since if one posts something and doesn't get any response to it...not the best feeling in the world.

I imagine most YouTubers (career or otherwise) don't expect likes and comments from "every" viewer as much as they'd like it and often outright ASK for it. I think total views is what validates them most, so I don't think many feelings are hurt. I'm not a "YouTuber," but I uploaded couple videos of myself playing songs I arranged on the piano. I uploaded them to share with friends and family, so expected maybe a dozen views; I was quite surprised to find it getting HUNDREDS; felt good.

I have lots of things I should be doing, yet I spent an hour of my life writing a steam-review of a game. A review I fully expect will be buried in more recent ones within a week. And even so, the flow of the review was disjointed and repeating itself since I didn't manage to connect all the things I wanted to say with a through-line.

But I struck out to do something creative, and I did carry the task to completion, and one person ranked the review as helpful, so yeah, I'm a bit proud of it.

Actually, I have liked some videos, if they are obviously small and don't have a lot of watches or likes. I liked this guy.
I can't even remember why I was looking this up, something to do with some bike diy or something. I found the fact he uploaded this, and assumedly was doing a series of similar videos, kind of touching for some reason. Like, good on you kid. It sort of helped, but not really, but I appreciate you bothered to record and upload it anyway.

I also liked this one.
It has 9 likes to 6 dislikes, and I honestly had a hard time finding the basic information contained in it, so thanks obscure racing game lady!

In other thread-topic-related confessions, I wear a sarong around the house in summer. It allows the balls to ventilate.

I'm very selective with my liking, some people seem to do it almost as a courtesy of sorts lol. As for commenting though, I do that a lot since a lot of people ask questions that I know the answers to in videos I watch.

Something else a bit more lewd I've started doing. I just buy lube now for my self love needs, I don't try to pretend by buying hand lotion. It felt so stressful and embarrassing the first time doing that in a supermarket, but nobody cares and it's not like kids know what it is they just think you have some shampoo or something.

I'm like proud that I'm brave enough that I can buy this stuff in a public place now. Although I still use the computer machine to pay.

It's so much better except that shit is hard to wash off lol. And why doesn't it come in bigger tubs?

Did I mention the 0 dislikes? ;)

But in all seriousness, while it was a pleasant surprise, it also weirded me out a skosh. I know how the internet and YouTube work, it was just weird thinking that with all the cat and laughing babies videos out there, a few hundred people found ?me? via an [apparent] shared interest in a couple of obscure songs.
