AS i allways mention in these kinds of threads

one of my fav RPGs with a wicked humor and fairly fun gameplay. + its completely bonkers.
AND FREE!!!

then there is a ton of fan made storys that are even better then the real game itself, like
Pilgrims quest - Stone of balance is 2 great examples of D-mods

if you havent tried this, DO IT NOWZ!

Yeah I was just about to mention Nier. I saw all the negative reviews and avoided it for awhile even though it looked interesting. One day I saw it for a decent price so I said screw it I'm buying it. I ended up loving the game so much. I have no clue why it gets such a negative reception.

The two cons I've seen reviews talk about are completely stupid if you ask me. The first one is the main character is ugly looking. Seriously?

The 2nd was complaints about the OPTIONAL side quests being tedious fetch tasks.
A lot of Nier's main story was fetch quests as well. That and optional sidequests being ALL fetch quests was a pretty bad mistake. Those quests were the only way to gain levels in the game without grinding on monsters. With those quests having no variation, it took the game down a couple of notches. Its still a decent game but the critics did have some points with it.
