Separate Ways, although different, is as bland as it was in the PS2 version of RE4. No new maps so far. I'm gonna drop it and start Psychonauts 2.

I've often thought this.
I'll defend Ezekiel's right to lead an unrelentingly joyless life and pathetically whinge about a "gynocentric oligarchy" and how he's never known the touch of a woman due to... car-oriented city planning? Jesus fucking Christ. But even without the incel spiel it's a matter of public record he doesn't even necessarily play the stuff he criticizes. This got lampshaded back in v1 after whinging in great detail about a game, as he does here, only to laterlet it slip he hadn't even played the thing (I think it was GoW 2018). So take any complaint he has about anything as an empty performance.
Everybody knows Ezekiel's personality by this point. People that don't like him can simply not respond. I just really hate seeing everybody gang up on one person.

It makes it too easy and goes on and on when people have long stopped caring. That said, I'm not afraid to call out bullshit when I see it. He better learn to deal with that. Especially when it's nothing but blind nostalgia and not giving credit where credit is due at all. Or thinking you're better than everybody else for stating your opinions as facts and "truths".

Don't forget, but this is the same guy that's willing to believe the words of any anti woke grifters and complains about a woman being in a sequel to a samurai game when he never played said original in the first place, nor gave a shit about Jin Sakai. Crying about "historical accuracy", when the original was never exactly accurate to the begin with either. It's called historical fiction. Deal with it. So we have sexism and his transphobia that he made pretty clear in multiple threads. Screw him. I will never sympathize nor empathize with somebody like that. You can do as you wish. I have actual standards.

You don't call out bullshit. You just go "Lalala, you're pathetic" rather than actually reply when I push back at all. All you have is insults. You can't debate for shit.

You call out bullshit.
Thank you. I appreciate the obvious right now. Do you need that out in writing and a step by step?

You just go "Lalala,
Thank you for talking about yourself, but you might want to start projecting less.

I finished reverse dramatic battle as Ryu. I'm doing another round as Karin this time. I'm using Xism this time. You get more guard gauge and your attacks hit harder.

I wonder if you realize that some of your posts toward Ezekiel would have resulted in moderation back in the day? I know that the standards have been relaxed quite a lot, and it's a good thing in general, but try to remember that personal insults toward other members of the forum aren't ok, even if you don't like them.

Sexism nor transphobia should be tolerated either. Those are much greater offenses, and people shouldn't be burying their heads in the sand over that. Unfortunately, that was the case with the moderation, and how really bad it got at the time with 1.0 and some of 2.0. I have no problem leaving him be for now, because he has nothing worth talking about. You can cry for him all you want. I don't give a shit.

I made it through halfway with Karin in Reverse Dramatc Battle. I am stopping for now and i'm going to finish either Gunstar Heroes or Gunstar Superheroes. I might go with the original first as I still have to do three more levels before even reaching the final one.

The irony in this statement is that out of all of us it was Ezekiel who was banned in v1 (and GiantBomb, and a bunch of other places), and the only reason why he's still around is precisely because standards have relaxed. Forget about his fraudster reviews about games he doesn't actually play, any one of his bigoted diatribes would've gotten him another ban by now.

I remember well that what got me banned from V1 was biting back against the passive-aggressive attitudes that the mods sanctioned and many called out at the time, combined with the terrible roll-off policy for points. This forum is well known for the former. My final post was something directed at Johnny, but I didn't mask whatever I said with sarcasm like he does. ZombieProof complained that I had always been respectful, until my tolerance for how you're acting now broke. They banned so many people. Bring it up all you want, but it's part of the reason this forum is dead. Deadest of all the forums I post on, by far. Yoshi informed me that banned users could come back, and then you banned him too. This has consequences. One can hardly have a discussion anymore because of how few people are left. Surviving the ban hammer while being disrespectful for so long only means that you mastered insulting without breaking the rules, with snide and sarcasm.

EasyAllies and Giantbomb are terrible. I consider my bans badges of honor.

It's weird that you claim I don't play any of the games I criticize because of some God of War comments from seven years ago, observations which turned out to be true. Let it go.

Easy Allies don't even have a forum anymore. They dropped it the first year after covid. I may have not liked the formatting. The best, but they were the best modders that actually did their job in there. They called out bullshit when they saw it, and banned the riff raff. They were never passive aggressive ignore, enabled, shitty behavior. They were much better than here, SpaceBattles, and especially Giant Bomb when it came to actual moderation and doing their damn jobs. I don't blame them for shutting down the forums, as it was wasting their money and they haven't discord, or just do live streaming now. It's sad and I will miss them the most.

I consider my bans badges of honor.
Because anyone with any actual sanity, and sense didn't like you (I am more so siding with Easy Allies here, and not GB), and you couldn't fit anywhere else. I didn't even know you had an Allies account nor got banned. That was your own fault from what I can probably tell. They did ban people who had either racist, sexist, or homophobic behavior. I know a good amount of people got banned when they complained about Ellie being lesbian in that second trailer for TLOUS2. Though it was less complaints and more throwing out slurs and throwing insult at anybody that disagreed with them. I saw all that shit, and I smiled when those assholes got banned for being the assholes they are. Easy Allies i did nothing wrong.

EasyAllies was a leftist shithole, and I was correct for pointing out how forced the lack of white people and the abundance of women in Star Wars: Squadrons was. It's like they never watched the movies. Considering how intolerant you are of other views, I can see why you liked the place.

EasyAllies was a leftist shithole,
Spoken like a true pawn and sheep of the anti woke grifters. You're just another drone who can't think for himself. I didn't agree with every single thing on Easy Allies, but I really didn't care because they did a good job of managing their forums and getting shit actually done. You're just upset because you face the consequences of people actually doing the right thing, and not being slaves to ultra alt right people who are racist, sexists, and transphobic. They treat people from all walks of life as actual people. So long as they don't act like jack ass to others.Nor try to harm nor harass others. Sounds more than fair and reasonable to me.

Considering how intolerant you are of other views,
Once again projecting and talking about yourself. You should really learn to admit that. I am tolerant, but I don't tolerate racism, sexism nor transphobia. You have been doing all three consistently, and I'll hear none of it. Get over yourself and deal with it or continue crying and playing victim like you've always have. It's all you ever do.

I finished Green's stage in Gun Star Heroes. He is legit harder than his remake counterpart. I like the remake version for the cooler design, but he is much easier by comparison. Especially if you have Gun Star Red in the remake. Her super move for her default gun regenerates faster than the super bar can be lower. A huge oversight, somehow treasure never picked up on or it was too late to fix. You can kinda tell that the game was rushed in certain sections. Especially when you get to the final boss in Super Heroes.

Been a while since I posted here, let's see what's going on

Eh yeah, I'm playing this game called Minishoot Adventures I picked up on sale last weekend. Best described as "what if 2d Zelda, but also top down twin stick schmup?" Good stuff. Not as difficult as I suspected, tho I encountered this one optional (i think) boss that is just wrecking me because he loves flooding the zone with bullets in patterns that are frustrating to dodge unless you're at the very edge of the arena. But I also don't have enough attack range to stay that far away, so I'm forced to move in. I have an ability that sends out a 360 degree wave that destroys bullets, but it doesn't charge fast enough to be relied upon. Maybe I'm too early and should come back later when I got more upgrades, but on the other hand, it feels like it should be possible as I am now.

Ok then, I'll leave y'all to it. Buhbye!

You don't have to leave. I've been done with this conversation already.

Tell me more about this game I'd never heard of before.
I mean, you have an overworld divided into different biomes, dotted with small, often hidde, challenges, which lead to a heart piece or such. And of course your dungeons, some of which seem to be optional. You do some key hunting, until you get to the boss. Beat the boss, get a new ability, which let's you access new areas on the overworld. You know, your basic Zelda progression.

But the combat mechanics are twin stick bullet hell schmup, so enemies vomit bullets everywhere that you need to weave through while taking them out. Enemies drop experience that go towards upgrade points to make you Harder, Better, Faster, Stronger. Tho there are also large enemies that drop a separate currency you can spend towards bigger guns and miscellaneous stuff like a secrets radar or a town portal. And you get various abilities, like a dash or that aforementioned omnidirectional wave attack, the latter of which needs to be charged by either hitting or destroying enemies (not quite clear on which)

Individually these elements aren't spectacular, but they've been blended nicely.

I just put him on ignore. He isn't worth engaging with in any way on any topic.
People whose only human interactions are anonymous online forums and a dominatrix probably don't make for the most interesting dialogue. I'd be perpetually miserable too if my benchmark for productive conversation was engaging in wild, extremist opinions after I paid someone to force me to drink their piss out of a dog bowl; I imagine an unpreferred aspect ratio on a Blu-Ray or imperfect combat system in a videogame could be the bridge too far after yet another day like that.

The majority of people who object to giving children hormone blockers and letting them undergo sex change operations aren't scared of them. We hate you because you won't even question it and because you shut your ears and eyes to any opposing views, because these are children, but it's not a phobia. As a Kamala Harris supporter, you lost the election in part because of how you act whenever the subject of men comes up, and race to an extent. I think it was she who told the male voting population in a condescending way that they had to do right by their women and vote blue. Or Michelle Obama after the endorsement. What did you think was gonna happen when you tried to alienate half the population? It would be wiser to engage in the conversation than to shut it down with -isms.

BTW @Ezekiel, whatever bullshit your spouting I can't see right now, cuz I have you on ignore. Sooooooo.....have fun with being your miserable usual. That's the closes to a win you ever gotten in a long, long, long, loonnnggggggggggggg......time!

Onto more important matters:

I might have to check this out, considering I don't care much for mainline Zelda games, nor their clones from the past or now. Thank you, @Chimpzy. You're the best chimp of all time.

I've been playing a bit of Revenge of Shinobi too earlier this week.
