Wah, wah, wah, it's not the game from my late teenage or twenty something's hood! All that is a you problem, and you can't get over your own self.

I don't get why Leon is so much nastier at Luis.
Once again, you don't pay attention and have we're the hyper tunnel vision. It's pointed out that leon is still sour from Ada in RE2R. Not helping matters is that Luis has been avoiding questions and issues and knows more than he's letting on and was a former Umbrella employee in the remake continuity. Shows you're not as smart as you think you are or have not been paying attention at all. Dion has every right to be suspicious and on guard, and I don't blame him. A person would be stupid not to do so.

They do get along later. So that's once again on you for not paying attention.

Because I'm enjoying it.
Some actual honesty for once in your life. Though clearly not enough. You really don't have a right to complain right now.

That's very little for Leon to be so excessively surly with him. It's unproductive, gets tiresome and is a boring way to reinterpret their relationship. For realism? In the game with the absurdly gigantic castle built with obscene wealth that would have birthed a city and attracted traders and tourists over the centuries.

"Some honesty?" I hid nothing. You don't understand me and are too defensive and eager to pick a fight. I said, "It's better than I expected so far, but still inferior and only exists because Capcom won't make original games with the finance adjusted for inflation/bloat and directorial freedom that went into their old games anymore."

You don't understand me
I understand you, but I don't give a shit.

You're literally an old man yelling at clouds who never will be satisfied with almost anything, and wants everyone to fit in your pathetic mold and standards.

Finishing up CVS2 in a few moments after dinner.

Ashley wasn't annoying in the original. She was designed and played more like a kid, adding to her vulnerability. I don't see what there was to dislike, unless you think women should only be mature.
She was also better equipped in the original.

Which matters because... why, exactly?

I get that some characters are intentionally designed as sex symbols, and that being sexy is a part of their character. And there's a visual aspect to it that is a major part of it... but you cannot convince me that Ashley Graham is from that mould. Compare to characters like Lara Croft, Bayonetta, or even Capcom's own Chun-Li and Cammy.

Bullshit. I find pretty much no reason to care about Ashley in the original. "Ballistics" or not. I like fan-service, but it has to be meaningful, and OG Ashley never did anything for me, even as teen. Because I already had and seen better beforehand. Sheva is a much better companion character over OG Ashley, and has an actual personality and can take care of herself much better. At least Sheva can kick ass.

Remake Ashley gets way more bad ass moments over OG Ashley. Especially this scene here:

So take off those nostalgia goggles and learn to get fucking real.

(Ice Cube voice): NerfedFalcon tellin it like it is!

I did a few more rounds of CVS2.

I did RE4R Mercenaries Mode, and my God the combat is still so satisfying.

Not surprised neither of you can take a joke. Or maybe you don't get the joke. Either way, thanks for demonstrating that you take all this way too seriously.

That would be you, and thanks for your projection. Try better next time in actually admitting your flaws. Screw off with the whole "just joking" justification. None of that was you joking. Don't know who you're trying to fool here, aside from yourself.

Did a few missions of DmC on Gods Must Die. I might do some Must Style Mode Perks, as I have not done that in a while.

I was talking about Drathnoxis' joke. Why would you think I was talking about myself when I accused BOTH of you for not getting it or being too irritable to just let it go? The other guy didn't respond to me. So you really didn't get the joke. You must not know the original RE4 that well.

Blah, blah, my jokes sucks!
Thank you, and good night.

I understand your attempts at humor. I simply do not find them entertaining.
Once again, keeping it real.

I got Like A Dragon: Pirate Yakuza on sale, btw, @NerfedFalcon. I will still play the game, but I am literally getting this for Spikeout: Final Edition. Thank you again, for the heads up, as I would have never known sooner. I bought the last copy at my local Best Buy for $42.99.

Not bad. After conversion I think I paid more.

I've gotten up to chapter 2 so far, haven't hit the arcade yet; the one in Honolulu is the one with the Sega games, while the Madlantis one that you access earlier just has the series' staple crane games. But if you've got a co-op partner there's the multiplayer option from the main menu as well, so.

Pretty immature. Ignoring what I just told you so that you can lie.

The rest of you can go back and read the posts again.

Luis: "I see that the president has EQUIPPED his daughter with ballistics."

They didn't get Drathnoxis' joke. It's obvious.

I take it you paid for the digital version on sale, since it cost more there for some weird reason.
Nah, I got a physical copy, and it was on sale, but I still spent $77 (Australia). US$42.99 on the first currency converter I checked comes out to about AU$65. But, as a long-term Yakuza series fan, I don't mind paying that much for a new entry.

And I didn't respond to you because, until now, you've said nothing worth responding to.
Didn't catch this edit. The point of saying that you didn't respond to me was to explain to BrawlMan that I would have had no reason to accuse you of not understanding my joke or of having a stick up your butt about my joke. Because I made no joke and wasn't talking about myself.
