I don't really read much fan fiction but my god was My Immortal hilarious to read. It is the very definition of so bad it's good.

FF7 moved to highschool fanfic Shinra High. It is cringe-inducingly awful, and it makes Twilight's wish fulfillment look like masterpiece in self-examination and self-depreciation.

I can't help but read it without laughing.

Don't kill me for bringing ponies up, but I can't see this thread and not mention the Silent Ponyville series. Yeah, that's a crossover between Silent Hill and My Little Pony: Friendship is Magic, and it is awesome.

It captures both the brilliance of Silent Hill 2, the atmosphere of Silent Hill in general, and the essence of what makes MLP:FiM awesome, but giving it a much darker tone.

And yes, Silent Ponyville 2 is the best so far, and will likely stay that way, at least in my opinion. XD I am kinda biased on that though, lol. Fluttershy is best pony!

I'm going to go along with Ace2401 and say that my favourite fan-fic is a pony one, Progress Luna vs series. They are hilarious and I'm always in the mood for a good laugh and good light hearted and well writen fun.

Children's show? Yup. Fuck awesome character dynamics? You better believe it. Turtles fanfics are the bomb.
