what are your "unpopular" opinions on gaming?

Red Faction Armageddon is better than Guerrilla.
The 3DS is awesome.
I only like the Sonic Adventure games. The others I don't give a fuck about.
I like Battlefield over Call of Duty.
Left 4 Dead 2's characters besides Rochelle are better than Left 4 Dead 1's.
Lost Planet 2 was amazing and I wish there were still people playing it.
Dynasty Warriors is a great series.
The best Pokemon games are Black and White, not the original, and they have only gotten better over the years.
Metroid Prime has terrible controls.
Wind Waker was better than Ocarina of Time.
GTA 4 is one of the most boring games I have ever played.

The vast majority of FPS that came after the PS1 era are bland, boring, and nearly indiscriminate from one another.

Halo is good but, over rated

I don't know if this one is aimed at my fellow gamers or game manufacturers (i'm guessing the second); but, I'd rather play a crappy game with my friends in a living room, than a great game online. (give me back one system multi payer you j******)

The DS XL is my favorite current generation system.

Dragon Age is overrated and incredibly similar in plot to Lord of the Rings.

Modern Warfare is shitty

Catherine doesn't look very interesting

Portal was much better than the first

Final Fantasy XIII wasn't that linear when you think about it (XII was too open for the fans and was complained about as a result)

(1) Any foreign game should have subtitles (and not have English voice actors re-dub them).
(2) Most games should be no more than 6 hours long.
(3) Developers should focus on Single player and not multi-player.
(4) The Gamecube has better graphics than any system today.
(5) Wind Waker is the best Zelda.
(6) Halo 2 is the best Halo.
(7) 3D makes everything worse.

1) Turn-based combat is awesome.

2) Graphics don't matter much at all.

3) If a game has a really good storyline, it doesn't matter if gameplay sucks.

4) Most sequels people say are "dumbed down" are actually a lot better than the previous instalments.

5) Remaking games to make them more modern-generation is bad. Bad bad bad. Leave them alone.

6) Final Fantasy VIII is an awesome game.

6) PS1/N64/Saturn generation games are mostly a lot better than the current generation.

7) Cheats make games fun.

8) Developers making sequels to games that are fine on their own is usually a good thing. As long as they don't feel forced. It's usually better if they're not related much to the original. But sometimes the sequels do end up sucking hard.

9) Most MMOs suck. Most of them. And unless the MMO is really, really, really good, like WoW-standard, which is unlikely, adding an MMO to an offline franchise is an awful idea that completely kills the series.

10) Dragon Age: Origins sucks.

11) It doesn't matter if a game is really long. In fact it's better that way. More of the game to enjoy!
(Seriously, I really don't get why people think games shouldn't be 'too long'.)

12) Console gaming is better than PC gaming.

13) Silent Hill isn't scary.

14) Wii sucks.

I'll stop before it becomes a TL;DR.

2. I liked Atlantica in Kingdom Hearts 2
3. I don't think that FIFA is that good
4. The Wii U will suck
5. I'm not buying a 3DS just for Zelda
6. Majora's Mask was the better N64 Zelda

8. Games with bad graphics are still fun and don't ruin the game (Case in point- Minecraft)
9. As good as Character Customization is, it dosn't have to be in a game

Mass Effect 2 was better than Mass Effect 1.

Kingdom Hearts 2 is the best Kingdom Hearts game.

Minecraft is only okay. Not great, not horrible, just okay.

Mass Effect 3 is going to be great. (Hopefully.)

Steam is good.

BioShock 2 is pretty good, about as good as BioShock 1.

I don't like 8-bit games. Or 16 bit, or...really, anything before the year 2000.

The God of War series is great to watch, but not the kind of game I would like to play.

I wouldn't consider 2, 3 or 5 are unpopular. I also don't think 7 is, either; it's just an idea that is not as promoted by super obnoxious people as dark gritty COD fanboys and colorful title fanboys.

I still love Nintendo, even though as a Wii owner I agree (with the singular significant exception being the incredible No More Heroes.
