What bands do YOU think are overrated? (Don't flame, just state your awnser and move along)

A lot of people seem to dislike them here, I find that odd.

I remember when my dad sat me down and we had serious talk about Morrowind... it was hilarious it's like he couldn't handle the fact that I didn't like Morrowind so he tried for like a half an hour to explain in fine detail why it was the best RPG ever created...

Thank you! I don't know why Smells Like Teen Spirit is supposed to be so good either. I think they deserve all the praise they get but they have much better songs than that.

Your dad tried to convince you Morrowind was the best thing ever? Ha! That's odd. The only thing my dad's ever tried to convince me of its greatness was the Everly Brothers. Odd because he likes much better music than that. He's the one who got me into bands like Nirvana, Nine Inch Nails, The Pixies and The Smashing Pumpkins in the first place. XD

as much as I dislike my mom, I have to say she has a much better taste in music. my dad listens to Dr.Dre and N.W.A. and other assorted gangster rappers but keep in mind I don't hate rap, I just don't think it's as good as say Nirvana or Helmet or Radiohead or Hall & Oats...

yeah my mom loves Grunge and Metal. it's funny because she's a clean freak who sprays down everything with Lysol when she get's the chance, but every so often you can see her just drive by blasting some Alice in Chains or Soundgarden... she even tried to start an all girl metal band and they look hilarious...
I love 80's music too they had the best pop music with artists like David Bowie, Duran Duran and Klaus Nomi... lol...

Due to her influence, I really liked 80s bands like Siouxsie and the Banshees, INXS and ABC. Yeah, it's some pretty gay stuff but I like it XD
