Bond...? James Bond.

EDIT: Couldn't resist. I would have to say the bond of love.

Man and dog. Dogs don't give a shit about anything you do and will love you. Sort of like a really good family that you can pet and name Fuzzybottom.

Isn't this a variation of "If one had to die, who would you choose? Your mom or your significant other/wife". I doubt anyone would say friendships rule over them all.
That thread sounds awesome?

P.S. By the way, wheres the search feature so I can comment on that thread?
I don't think that there's a thread called like that. I was pointing out that it was one sort of those moralist questions I have so very much. The search is in the upper right corner.

Well, the strength of a chemical bond is a function of electronegativity and the valences involved. I personally prefer 3c-2e chemical bonds, because it's a case of 3 sharing 2, and that's just nice.
...not exactly strong though, is it? The strongest bond is the triple bond between two nitrogen atoms. Everybody knows that.
It is exactly strong. All the chemical bonds are strong. And I wasn't representing my choice as the strongest, just as my preferred strong bond, because it's nice and all about sharing among friends.

Damn, my shot at snide chemistry jokes just dropped down the drain.
I honestly dont know what bond is strongest, but Id have to say a lovers bond. Love holds two people together the closest, but when the bond is split it tears the two to peices.
Thats my two cents worth.

Family, particularly the mother- child relationship but the other family bonds are still stronger than all others.

I have the strongest and only real bond with myself, I just love myself, and in reality everything humans do is purely in their own self interest

Not really; Diborane splits apart the first chance it can get (so Much so that you can just treat it as BH[small]3[/small] in equations. It is of course stonger than a Hydrogen bond which is itself stronger than simple Van der Waals forces, but it's still weak in comparison to normal 2c-2e[sup]-[/sup] bonds (just work out the bond-orders if you don't believe me).

Just read wikipedia if you don't believe me.

I was talking about the general classification of all chemical bonds as "strong", as the linked article indicates, as my posts indicated, and that you refuse to accept and let be. I was being funny. You are being pedantic and trying to show off. Please stop.

The strongest bond is between mother and son. Sounds lame but it's still true.

The reason for this is that there can be no confict of interests between the two.
The son's interest is himself. The mother's interest is her son (natural selection has simply wired women that way where their children are concearned).
There is no possiblity for competition over the same mate (like mother-daughter) here or jealousy (like between lovers).

The bond can broken, like any bond, but this usually requires either or both persons to be seriously messed up mentally.

Fine; the title is 'Which bond do you think is the strongest'. A 3c-2e[sup]-[/sup] bond is not the strongest (though I will admit it's stronger than most of the bonds like 'love' that people have written). Although you do have to admit that polygamy generally results in weaker bonds than monogamy (so I went along with your joke; happy now?).
