I'm finally reading The Name of the Wind by Patrick Rothfuss. I'm fourteen chapters in and loving it so far.

The Man Who Was Poe by Avi. It's a book probably aimed for the before-teens, maybe to introduce you to Edgar Allan Poe. I found the book when cleaning my room, and I figured, why not.

On the Beach by Nevil Shute

Super old (50's) post-apocalyptic (nuclear fallout) novel.
I'm a massive Fallout fan, so I just had to pick it up. :D

I recently finished The Hobbit. Was going to move on to the Lord of the rings. It's more sitting on the shelf then me reading it though.

Hello Escapees, Just wondering what books you guys and girls are reading right now?

I finished off the third Horus Heresy book the other day and decided to take a break from it, so I picked up The Road and am totally loving it, depressing but awesome at the same time.
Roadside Picnic by Boris and Arkady Strugatsky.

I've only really started reading it in the last day or so, but so far I'm engrossed.

Currently I'm reading The Moral Landscape by Sam Harris. I also just finished The Grand Design by Stephen Hawking and Leonardo Mlodinow.

Enjoyable reads.

200 Battles That Changed the World.

Very good reference book which picks awesome battles, all the way from the beginning of time, til 2003's Operation: Iraqi Freedom. The analysis of each battle is filled with unbiased facts, fun tidbits of trivia, tactical summaries of equipment, and 'step-by-step' diagrams on maps, of how each battle progressed.

Having a ton of fun with it. :)

It by Stephen King. So far it's pretty good, but I'm still not anywhere near done or even halfway.

"The Scar" by China Miéville

I'am about in the middle and so far its a great novel, not as good as its predecessor ("Perdido Street Station") though. I still love how varied, believable and interesting he keeps building his world...

The Lovecraft Collection. I must admit I'm reading it because I got the Call of Cthulu game on the Steam sale.

Currently, I am reading Capitalisme, désir et servitude by Frédéric Lordon.
It is a bit of a mix of philosophy, sociology and economics and it is incredibly interesting.

Children of Dune- Frank Herbert, Isaac Asimov's Science fiction magazine, Skullduggery Pleasant: The Faceless ones - Derek Landy, A Clockwork Orange - Anthony Burgess, Still life - Richard Stubbs and the Quantum thief by Hannu Rajaniemi.
I love skullduggery pleasant. i know it's aimed at young adults but the writing style is just so damn interesting.
