What can you cook?

I usually do a grilled chicken sandwich on a toasted baguette with red onions, green-leaf lettuce and yellow mustard. I can also make some pasta dishes, a few kinds of salad and simple stir fries without a recipe. With a recipe I can do a fair bit of baking.

I've been a vegetarian for about seven years now, and not up until a few months ago did I try and treat myself to a hearty breakfast. The aforementioned meal is an attempt at said hearty breakfast.

Anything I have a recipe for, but it usually comes down to the easiest thing still edible, sometimes I'll bust out something fancy to impress girls.
And guys that shit does help, just need to get the girl home first... without kidnapping.

I'm a chef by trade. I'll let you all make your own deductions from there.

On the other hand, my being creative doesn't happen all that often unless it's for one of the FoH staff. I LOATHE cooking for myself (beyond simple things, at least). It feels like such a waste if someone else can't at least enjoy it.

I can cook anything provided I have a set of instructions and a proper list of ingredients at hand, definitely. I also have a penchant for experimentation which is not so much cooking as...

...with often delicious results. That is not what you call a perfectly reliable act, though. If you're depending on me for a good meal, you show me a cookbook and an array of ingredients.

Cooking is science. Chemistry, mostly.

I mostly cook desserts and other sweet things. I really do just have a sweet tooth. But I think I can cook with a degree of skill, but I still do have a lot to learn.

My specialty is a Dijon Mustard and allspice pot roast with a twice baked saffron potato that I make from scratch other then that I am generally a dominantly Italian foods cooker, which bugs the crap out of my mom since I'm asian.

I can make... spaghetti bolognese.

It's not as goos as my Mum's Spaghetti Bolognese (Which has been capitalised for epicness), but at least it's edible. I keep forgetting the cornflour though... Y~Y

On topic:

Quite a bit actually. Most of it's a variation on pasta with something or rice with something but sometimes that's enough. I can do soups, stews, scrambled eggs and gravy as well, so as far as varity I'm not going to get board and resort to take-aways all that much. (Even if I will be Mrs-7-recipes).

I'm living in a house not halls next year for Uni so I'm looking forward to cooking for myself.

Considering I know people who can't even boil an egg, anyone who can cook pasta properly is ahead of the curve in my books!
