This is my thinking with the rust monster. While these two critters may not be the most powerful on the block you can't mess with won without leaving sorry - and why would you want to anyway, there's no worth in taking out a rust monster or gelatinous cube, especially given the risks involves.

In my mind rust monsters edge out the cube however: I have a propeller tail.

So as a beholder I get to be: Paranoid, racist (even to other beholders that so not look ecxactly like me), sadistic... (and shoot disintegration beams from my eyes as well as turn enemies to stone for a late snack)

I am not entirely sure that that is what I am but I have had fun playing a beholder once

I ended up with Drow. :< I guess it's okay, but I REALLY WANTED to be a kobold. I always PLAY kobolds, Drow are so whiny and emo.
