What console do you keep hooking up or playing it's games via virtual console/PSN?

For me it's SNES. I think I played more SNES games this gen than I played of modern system. Right now I am on my umpteenth runthrough of Secret of Evermore, before that it was Secret of Mana. Surprisingly, the SNES looks pretty good on an HDTV.

How about you?

PlayStation 1. My favorite console of all time. I used to play the hell lot of PSX on my PSP emulator and now I can legally buy them from PSN on my Vita! To that date, I've played Front Mission 3 on every thing that could possibly emulate PlayStation 1.

SNES. It's the best console, just for the RPGs. If you like Secret of Mana you should try Seiken Densetsu 3 (the sequel).
Terranigma? Chrono Trigger? FF6?

Yeah, SNES and PS1 were the golden years for gaming in my opinion.

We never got official releases of Terranigma and Secret of Mana 2. So...I can't talk about if I have played them. :)

FF6 and Chrono Trigger, top of my list of SNES games.

I'll always go back to all of my consoles, but I don't disconnect my PS2 because I use it as often as my PS3. I'm not replaying old games either, I'm still finding new ones that look fun.

If it's replaying nostalgic titles my Sega Genesis/Megadrive is that console. Especially with Altered Beast, Haunting and Golden Axe.

Many...I'm lucky enough to live close by to an independent games retailer so it's kind of become a habit of mine to pop in and leave with a handful of NES, Genesis, SNES carts or, random disc-games from previous generations. Out of the older consoles that I can play, I've been giving a lot of attention to the Genesis and Dreamcast since I never really had then or, spent a lot of time with them when I was younger. That being said though, I have more fun playing NES and SNES games. I'm not very good at the NES games though...but it's still awesome to rediscover a game from when I was a kid or, find a gem that I'd never heard of before.

If you have an NES or can play NES games, I strongly recommend Crusade of the Crystal Palace. It's a solid, really tight platformer. Don't let the cover art keep you away from the thing as it's dirt-cheap but very good!

Gamecube. Just for Metroid Prime and Mario Kart: Double Dash. I play through Metroid Prime on an almost annual basis, and I start up Double Dash every couple of months to play with my brother. Both of those games are just so damn good.

Lots of systems, old and new. Out of the big ones, like Gamecube, DS, GBA, Xbox 360, Wii, N64, SNES, PS2, I suppose it would be the Gamecube, or Wii if only because I can play Gamecube games on the Wii. The DS/3DS get a lot of usage too. In general, I play more older games than new releases by a very large margin.

My Gamecube and N64.

The Cube has two Metroid Primes and two of the best Zelda games ever made, which repeatedly draw me back. Smash Bros: Melee also gets dug up every time old high schol friends come round, it's bonding and nostalgia made disc form (and Fox is the best damnit!).

The N64 has Star Fox, Conker, Pod Racer, Mario 64 and Perfect Dark,it's wonderful.

If I hadn't given the games away I suspect my PS2 would get mileage too, particularly MGS2 and 3 (which is the best MGS so far).

I keep my PS2 boxed up and ready to go. I bring it with me on vacations, though, increasingly, I can't use it on many hotel TV sets. Very aggravating.

The PS2, absolutely. I think it still has the best gaming catalogue in the history of gaming catalogues. And I still have a massive backlog to go through, so there's no way in hell I'm disavowing it any time soon.

My PS2 definitely. The PS1 and the PS2 have such a large library of games that I enjoy, with none of the politics that the gen afterwards had like DLC. Plus, a lot of my favorite game series never survived the move from PS2 to PS3, so no real reason to upgrade. While I do most of my gaming on the computer, PS2 remains the console I just can't quit. Even did some console surgery recently to ensure it would keep on ticking.

I love busting out the N64 every now and then, and frequently play NES games on the emulator.

My PS2. Some of my favourite games are from the PS2 era (e.g. Resi 4) and I have no intention of supporting Sony's lack of backwards compatibility in the PS3 (and PS4) by rebuying them through PSN. Plus I have the slim which is pretty much the same size as a tablet so it's super portable. Plus I use it as a second dvd player. Plus nostaligia.

Although recently I've been using VisualBoy (an emulator for the various Nintendo handhelds) to play Pokemon Yellow which is pretty cool, I might even have to get a few more games when I finish Yellow.

I am playing Secret of Evermore off the original cart because I can switch between the real SNES and the Supaboy.

Here's the Supaboy for those who haven't seen it. http://hyperkin.com/supaboy-portable-pocket-snes-console.html/

The Nintendo 64. I've play more F-Zero X than anything this year.

I always come back to the SNES too to play Super Metroid and Megaman X.

Nothing. I like new games. There is no appeal to me to keep going back and replaying all the old games in my collection.

Now that is hard to answer.

No idea. But it's definitely in-between the GameCube and the NES. I'm going through classic Sega games currently and they have A LOT of hidden gems.

I've never owned a games console, so I'll substitute "Operating System" for "Console" and nominate MS-DOS.
