I have a Wii, a 360, a DS, a PSP, and I last Christmas I got a 3DS. I thought about getting a PS3, but the damn thing is just too bloody expensive and there weren't enough games (that interested me) on it to make it worth while.

360 and Wii here. With how we define generations handhelds doesn't count, but I also got a 3DS. I have a gaming PC, but PCs are several generations ahead of consoles so I don't think that counts either.

I have a pc that runs everything fine... other than that, consoles, nothing recent, newest one I have is a ps2, then a SNES and a NES, but that's it... and I tend to use the ps2 as a DVD player more than anything else, and even less as that in recent months as I built a little PC outa spare bits left over from a few upgrades, and hooked it up to my TV, so now I have the internet, and a dvd player, no need for anything else to watch every movie ever on it, and every TV series out there.

This is mainly due to the fact that nothing has come out that's console specific that I would consider worth the cost of a console to play, and everything else works with whatever controler I wanna use on my PC... so yeah...

I own all of them.

My PCs are used for work and that's it.

I am writing this from my Playstation 3 web surfing interface. I can also watch movies, stream music, and chat with friends. If my PS 3 had a decent word processing program, I would never use my PC for anything else.

I have PS3 and some old games on my laptop, along with NDS. My roommate has Xbox which I have full access to but rarely play.

Xbox 360
3DS
Low/mid-end PC that still plays the occasional indie game (Humble Bundle gogogo)

Also, not sure if these are this generation, but I also got the original DS and the DSi.

For me, I have all three for specific purposes:

Wii: The Family-Friendly console that is good for family get-togethers and for any friends that are not a fan of violence. I hate that it does not have a lot of good games, or 720p resolution, and motion controls... fuck I hate this system

Xbox 360: Shooters and perhaps the rare exclusive that blows my mind (Alan Wake). The controller is perfect for playing FPSs. And the XBLA indie titles are AMAZING

PS3: RPGs and everything else. This is my preferred console. The exclusives are fantastic. I love to immerse myself in God of War, Uncharted, Resistance, 3D Dot Game Heroes ETC.
Alan Wake is not exclusive to 360, there's also on PC. This brings me to the next point (which is a matter of opinion), why should I buy 360 if I can play shooters on the master PC?
Alan Wake was originally Xbox exclusive for almost two years. It was one of the few exclusives it had. The 360s big problem is that apart from Halo, It has little to no exclusive games.

I also dislike mouse and keyboard controls which is apparently blasphemy for admitting that
I don't want to sound like a fanboy but X360 has more exclusives then you might think but alot of people never heard of them though.

I used to own a Wii until I sold it when I left for college. My roommates have always had Xbox 360 and a Wii so I play there games if there is a title that interests me, but I prefer to play games on the computer.

Oh and I have a Nintendo DS of course, but handhelds don't count in my book.

May I ask what those exclusives are?

Just a 360. DOn't like the negativity that surrounds PC gaming or the general aloof attitude of PC gamers so i only play Dawn of War (All games) While I play everything else on 360. RPG, RTS, FPS, Fighter, Arcade, hack n slash. I play everthing. Apart from sports games.

360, PS3, PSP and DS. I suppose my laptop counts since it is powerful enough to run some current gen games, but I mostly use it for older stuff.

Though it was different when I first got them, my PS3 is my bluray player and my 360 sits unplugged in the corner of my living room and collects dust. I've already told myself that one of these days I will work less and give it the attention it deserves. :p

I'm a handheld freak because in the past few years it felt like the handheld market is where innovation and the fun stuff happened whereas the home consoles just got one FPS after another.
Thus, I have a 3DS (which, aside from the pretty awesome downloadable titles is headed towards the home console crap :c) and my trusty DS Phat which still works like a charm aside from its batteries that can't even survive 30 minutes without demanding a recharge.

Recently got myself a used wii, tho, for some of dem silly wii-waggle games to enjoy with my niece and nephew and to sucker them into gaming at an early age >8D

PS3....

along with my PC anything more seems excessive..I don't need to play every game in existance (though gears of war looks cool)
Don't worry Gears of War sucks
OT: all of them. I like my x-box controller wayyy better. Though I usually play on my pc now. I prefer fps's on my x-box or ps3. I use my pc for bethesda and bioware games(mass effect is on my x-box though being a shooter). I really only use my ps3 for exclusives now. I usually am on my pc(though I wish I had Witcher on my x-box because my laptop is a POS). I might play super smash bros or zelda on my wii some times.

Haven't bought any of them. The last console I bought was the N64.

I slowly transitioned to PC gaming after I got that. I'm currently on my 4th home-brewed machine to date. Also have a laptop that does a decent job of it as well.

All I own now is a PS3. I used to have a DS, and I was also once given a Wii in lieu of pay for an old job, but I traded both in to buy the PS3. I also borrowed my old roommate's 360 and PSP long enough to play everything I cared to for them

Wii, DS (If that's still relevant), PSP, Vita, Ps3, Xbox 360, PC.

Favorite has to go to PS3 and Vita. So many great games... and free online. Same could be said for PC.

I mostly PC game these days, but I have a 360 and a PS3. The 360 was easily my primary, I used the PS3 for replays of old PS1 games and its exclusives.

I owned a 360 first and its still my console of choice.

The psp was my favorite handheld console of all time and I use it for everything.

I own a ps3 but mostly use it to watch utube on my tv and metal gear

The wii I won is for zelda and xenoblade....and dancing

I own a 3ds but I basically only use it so I can Have my LOL guides up at all time.

And PC came last and it has trumped all.
