If we beat the Taliban in a race, they are not going to say: "Okay, you win... lets go home guys" (In whatever language they speak)... They would start fighting (again). It's a beautiful vision you have there, but also an ignorant one.
The question was war, not global war. Global scale warfare has been pretty much stopped by nukes, but there have been plenty of wars since the nuke, alot of them not involving the Americans or the Russian's, especially in area's like Africa.AkJay said:Technically, the Nuclear Bomb ended war. with it's creation and first time use, people were scared shitless. Sure, we've had conflicts in the past (Vietnam, Korea) but nothing that would classify as a full-scale war. So now instead of fighting, we created the UN to talk things out.
This is the best idea ever, after the virtual reality play-through is over, they can see who won and they can surrender before the war starts. It will save a lot of lives. We would just need EVERYONE in world to put on virtual reality helmets for it to work.TheSeventhLoneWolf said:Virtual reality war?
i did read past the first sentance but vietnam was in one country this is in several, al quaeda is everywhere even though the actual fighting is in in the middle-east they have attacked elsewhere (9/11, 7/7) and also vietnam was one on one this isntAkJay said:Nope. It's a conflict, as I've stated earlier. If you care to read what I said past the first sentence you might have known that.llew said:so iraq, iran and afghanistan dont class as a war? so guns shooting and killing people in one country with 2 or more armies fighting each other every day doesnt class as war?AkJay said:Technically, the Nuclear Bomb ended war. with it's creation and first time use, people were scared shitless.
