Do you mean where i was born? Raised? Currently living? Country of citizenship? Because aside from the first and last one, they are all different (and include several countries).

I was born in Sweden. Raised in Sweden, Guinea-Bissau, Belgium, Switzerland, and Zambia. I am currently living in Kenya, but i will soon move on to Canada (Next week, actually). And my country of citizenship is Sweden. So, for simplicity's sake, i'll just do the troll thing in all the languages i know fluently.

Nah, doesn't annoy me that much. I've just been asked that question by too many people for whom it's a simple question, because they are born,raised, and live out their lives in the same country. The problem is less the question, and more my own feeling like these people don't take into account that there are other ways to grow up and live your life (But why should they? Most people on the planet live and die in the same counntry).

Russia, eh? Never been there, but i want to go at some point, and Russian is on my list of "Languages to learn befor i die" (the list also includes Italian, Spanish, Classic Arabic, Latin, Japanese, Mandarin, and Elvish).

I was only 3 years old when I lived in Russia, so I neve learned it, but in the case of elvish (I assume its LOTR elvish you refer to), I believe that somel´thing like makka torrog means "kill the troll".
