What did you do on your 18th?

Last time I celebrated my birthday was over 5 years ago lol.

I wore a pretty dress and invited my friends round for jelly and cake. My mum (on my request) had made me a cake of Ryuk from Deathnote's face. Then we went to the cinema to watch Stardust. And then... I think everyone went home.

Was a lovely day.

Turned 18 during the middle of exams in high school. Had friends over to study the shit out of calculus since it was like two days after. Thank God Univeristy ends like 2 months earlier, or I would have only the worst birthdays.

I turn 18 in November, and let me tell you, it's gonna be the best thing since sliced bread.

First, I'm gonna wake up bright and early. Then, I'm gonna go to school. Then, I'm gonna take a nap from when I get home to when I have to eat. Then (oh, this is where it gets good) a shower, goofing around on the Internet, and sleeping!

Fuck yeah.

I was woken up by my terrified mother to find out my dad had had a stroke coming out of the shower. Picking my wet, naked father up off the ground, I helped him get dressed, then I sat around a waiting room until about 10pm to see what would become of him. He apparently was not seen for five hours and suffered 4 more smaller strokes. Happy birthday.

Of course I'm sure as bad as it was for me it was worse for him.

Lets see if i got this in line. It was -25 out and still had school.(I called the superintendant and gave a really nasty message), ran a mile (twice) in seven minutes, made some tarts, bought my favorite LoL champ, and played cod all night. It was kind of a crappy day.

Since in the US it isn't legal to drink at 18, I didn't really do anything. It didn't seem like a huge deal to me. When I turn 21 though, I'm gonna get fucking wasted.

Ended up playing video games at a friend's house, his mom surprised me with a cake. After that we pretty much just screwed around town at 2 in the morning.

My 18th birthday happened to be the same night as my senior prom. I went with my ex-boyfriend and my two closest friends. We danced and had fun and then the bastards somehow got me away from the party long enough to set up a birthday cake, candles, and presents in the middle of it all before bringing me back out again for the surprise. I have very few pictures of it though because the camera used that night was stolen and pawned off T-T

My 18th was the day before the 3U English Related exam in the HSC (back when we had the TER in Australia). So I didn't really do anything ... besides madly scribble about Brave New World and 1984.

I forgot about my 18th. Some genius decided to have semester exams during that week so I spent the whole time looking things over and sleeping. I did remember it a few weeks later but it was just one of those "oh yeah ..." kinda things.

My 18th I had a small party with about 10 friends and we had Pina Colada's and played drunken Wii Sports all night.

Celebrate your 18th with your friends and family. Pubs and clubs are not that special and something you can do any night. Getting all your mates around for a celebration is a more special experience. Also you would be somewhere you know and have your mates to look after you so you can get properly wasted.

I was in school, then I went home and did nothing. No cake, no presents, just went to sleep. I also recieved my draft papers in the mail a few days BEFORE my birthday... Just recently had 19 and was in school, went home and went to sleep. I was sick...I don't really celebreate my birthday... Infact its just another day...
