I haven't seen this thread yet, so I figured I'd create it.
In my Country, Sweden, we give gifts on christmas eve, so I've already gotten all of my gifts. (Suck it, Americans! :p)
So, what did you get for christmas, and were you happy about it?
If you haven't gotten anything yet, feel free to guess and then later see if you got it right.
I got the first 5 series of Dr. Who and Babylon 5. I'm very happy with that, just what I wanted.

I got a shiny, new 250gb X-Box.
So shiny, what makes it better is my boyfriend is now incredibly jealous.

Yeah, in Switzerland it's the same thing. But we always split the gifts in half, half on Christmas Eve and half at night on Christmas Day because we would go to my aunt's on Christmas Eve then celebrate at home on Day. Of course, I live in Canada, and that was only like four times when I was little. But it stuck.

It's not the Eve yet, but I know some things I'm getting. My parents helped pay for the epic gaming computer I built, and also headphones.

Pffft... Some German-Australians I know would have gotten their presents near 12 hrs ago. Suck it...errrr... People who don't have northern european christmas traditions and also don't live much closer to the International Date Line than most.

I'll start getting my presents in about 4 hrs when I go visit the 'rents and demand bacon. They have already been informed several times that there will be bacon or there will be pain.

Well being in America I haven't opened them yet but I know some of what I got because I was allowed to buy some of my gifts with my mom's card so that I get stuff that I actually want.

I'm getting some books, two hoodies, a long sleeve shirt, and a set of dice. Theres more stuff but I don't know what they are yet

EDIT: I also know I'm getting my college text books

Whilst I haven't opened my presents yet, I already know what I've got because I ordered it; lots of clothes, and the rest in money. The money will probably be spent sometime between the 26th and the 31st on, if not more clothes, going out. Fun.

I've only had one present that I've been allowed to open so far, which is the Black Spiders album that's not actually out until February, but they had a pre-sale thingy. I was too poor at the time to buy and she decided to get it for christmas :D. Hooray!

And if your fam kept northern european traditions, you'd have gotten them 8-12hrs or so ago.

More importantly, though, did you get bacon?
I'm guessing I should have opened it at night or something? I'm Korean so not too sure about such traditions.

Yeah, I had heard of it, some of the traditions sound kinda weird, but they all depend on where you celebrate it. So what did you get back then?
