I named mine Marco. It's a Sony VAIO, and there was an Italian footballer called Marco di Vaio a few years back.

RX-78-2

Cookie for who knows the reference.
The RX-78-2 Gundam. Developed by the Earth Federation in U.C. 0079 in response to Zeon utilizing mobile suits against them in their bid for "freedom."
The RX-78-2 Gundam was piloted by Amuro Ray by chance because of a Zeon scouting party gone ambush on the V Project on Side 7.
Amuro gained an affinity for the Gundam to the point where he ditched White Base with it, and eventually the Gundam had a mind of its own until it was destroyed by the head of Zeong piloted by Char.

Do I get my cookie now?

My computer is named Squiggles III. Squiggles I and II died, so I thought I'd keep the family alive.

Herbert.

Hah!
Just kidding. His name's really Bob.
But I think it's pretty funny when I call him Herbert.
I SEE WHAT YOU DID THERE!
On a different topic, did you kill or save him?

I used to call mine "The Rectangle of Infinite Wisdom", but now I call it "Pinky." Not because it's pink, but because when I search for something or goof around on the internet, I always say to it "Pinky, are you pondering what I'm pondering?" It used to give me such joy on mystertgoogle.com.

I saved him, of course.
Why would I kill the poor tosser?
Even more so, why kill the only source of living trees to the Wasteland?
Even even more so, why not SPREAD it?

Even even even more so, why not do that, then go to Mothership Zeta?

Sorry, I got carried away.

P.S
The drones on Zeta are bitches.
I lost count of how many times they killed me.

Lol

I am ashamed that I get that reference
What reference?
Well crap, I'm even geekier than I thought.

I thought you were referencing Doctor Zhivago

http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0059113/

We watched that movie in history and always made fun of how the main character yelled "Sasha!"

All the computers in our household are named after musical terms - my previous computer was named Rhythm, and since this one was built to replace it, I named it Requiem.

Requiem of course being the term for songs composed for funerals.

Signa4. I started with Signa, and have been working my way up the numbers each generation. I'm waiting to hit 8 because Signa8 is the name I use when Signa is taken for registering an account name anywhere.

I'm at university, and they require you to name your computer with your student ID here, else you can't get onto their servors (they don't recognise you as a user). Since I don't have the technical know how or the motivation to try and bypass the system, it thus has my student ID, which I can't remember.
