What did you want to see at E3 that didn't show up?

So how about that E3?! Pretty good this time around wasn't it? I only really focused on Nintendo honestly and while it was a good showing for the most part, it would have been great to have seen more Zelda and, Star Fox. Given how Nintendo mentioned last year how they COULD have shown off Zelda U, I thought they might be further along than what they seem to have been.

Anyway, now that the show is over and we have time to reflect on the awesome stuff that we were shown, what did you want to see? There were a few Nintendo 'leaks' that turned out to be fake but and one of them mentioned HD re-releases of Gamecube games like Super Mario Sunshine and, Wave Race. I would have loved to have seen a Wave Race revival honestly but I'll settle with Project Giant Robot which I'm going to start referring to as Teleroboxer Reignited...or Telero-Sumo.

What about you other Escapists? What were you hoping to see or, expecting to see that ended up not making it onto the floor or into a presentation this year?

Updates on games like The Last Guardian and Beyond Good and Evil 2 are always on the list, but that's more of a wistful longing at this point than an expectation.

Last Guardian's the obvious choice. I also was really wanting to see, and expecting, there to be more fighting games at the conference. I was really expecting there to be a new Tekken or Soul game, or maybe just some more confirmation than an offhand comment that SF5 was happening. Even PS4 or Xbox One versions of last gen fighters would have been cool.

Another game I was looking to see more of was Capcom's Deep Down. I was genuinely surprised that it wasn't there at all from what I've seen.

Last Guardian (seriously, for a game that supposedly isn't cancelled, they have very little to say or show about it), Persona 5, Deep Down, Kingdom Hearts 3, Final Fantasy XV, and pretty much ANYTHING in relation to Vita games during sony conference.

I mean, I might have been getting my hopes up with some of those games, but even just a mention of more vita related things would have been nice, instead of "WE HAVE 100 NEW VITA TITLES IN THE WORKS, LIKE THESE 3..........THATS ALL YOU GET TO KNOW ABOUT AT THE MOMENT".

I understand that they probably had booths for vita stuff, and I did manage to find a youtube video on Freedom Wars, but holy crap, more than a passing mention of vita would have been nice during their conference.

I'm genuinely surprised at the lack of 3DS games.

I mean, it's good that Nintendo are actually now giving the WiiU attention, but you'd think there'd have been more.

Also, I know indie games have very little place at E3, due to the nature of the event, but games is games, right? Make your platform look like a sprawling marketplace (well, not like Steam, a curated one) and I think you're going to sway a few more people.

Other than that it would've just been wishful thinking, like Capcom announcing a Resident Evil 2 REmake.

I usually just let E3 "happen" and pick out the things I like - I really don't look forward to anything in particular anymore.

I was hoping for Fallout 4 quite a bit but I think most of all, I was hoping for more new IPs. I understand that everyone wanted to play it safe and go with the tried and true but I would like to see something new. Ya there were exceptions to this but I wanted more.

Fallout 4 and another Dishonoured game are the top of my list. Both have been teased and rumored at but there's no concrete evidence I know of that proves either exists.

Did everyone... just kinda forget about that Dishonored Two leak? I was genuinely looking forward to possible confirmation on that one...
Other then that there's the usual subjects: Beyond Good and Evil Two, Fallout Four, Last Guardian, anything of Valve's, some new iterations of N64 era Rareware property (THAT ISN'T A FUCKING EXTRA FEATURE OF PROJECT SPARK), etc.
Also, I know it's just a pipe dream but I was still holding out hope that EA was just going to say "HA! FOOLED YOU! We're actually making Battlefield 2143 after all! We really can't believe you all fell for that Payday rip-off fakeout!"

Oh, and a confirmation on Dangan Ronpa: Another Episode for US release, or even just some more info would have been awesome, but I guess I'd realistically have to wait for the Tokyo Game show for that...

I wanted to see Project Zero 5 and Yakuza 5, because if they had shown them on E3, we would have known that they would be localized and i´m very curious about both games.

I also wanted to hear about a Rhythm Heaven, Advance Wars, Fire Emblem, F-zero, Phoneix Wright and Professor Layton for WiiU, but that´s probably not gonna happen anytime soon.

A new Retro Studios Metroid. Don't get me wrong, Nintendo's conference was very good. But Other M just left a bad taste in my mouth that has yet to wash out.
