The title says it all, in you opinion, what do games need more of.

I think they need more necromancy available to the player, I mean, Why can't I be the one with massive undead dragons fighting for my character.
I'm getting annoyed at RPGs where the necromancers are always the bad guys and one rarely gets to play as one except for maybe one spell.
Oblivion's summoning system did this rather well, but they still didn't let the player join the faction.

More storyline and less multiplayer. Go ahead, flame me but that's what I think.
I'm sick of developers building a game just around multiplayer then suddenly realizing "Oh shit, guys we forgot the singleplayer." and just tacking on three levels with a crap storyline.

I want a first-person sandbox MMO with destructible environments!

That may be asking for a little much, but if you remove the MMO it could surely be done, right?

Puzzles, don't start ranting 'that's what puzzle games are for', I'm serious.

Nintendo used to be great for this, putting small logic puzzles into their major franchises to break up the gameplay a bit. Lately they seem to have been slacking off (yes I realize there was that statue thing in Twilight Princess that was actually pretty hard but that was just one puzzle). Metroid used to do this too with short timed tasks and 'find all of ___ in this room' kind of things, but the last Prime game seemed to be missing a lot of that.

I think more frequent, but simpler little puzzle sections in games (not just Nintendo, but they should get back to that) are in order.

More playable insane evil characters. Why not let us rip the world apart in a truer sense of the word than bloody "Oh noes, you broke that house a bit, you're evil". I'm talking something like a serious overlord meets The godfather. You start in a big city, and it's your job to bring forth destruction, maybe with help from gangs or maybe just some insane powers, letting us be the evil corporation this time around.

Humor. C'mon most games go in with a straight face that is supposed to make you take them seriously. I want more games with some jokes, puns, parodies. I want to be really enjoying myself and laughing. I was cracking up when Dr. Kleiner told everyone in City 17 to shag in HL2 Ep. 1 on the big screen in the middle of town that Breen used to run.

I agree with more single player/ co-op story modes. It seems that the stories have taken a back seat to multiplayer. Multiplayer is fun from time to time but I play games for the story.

Gamers like destruction. Let them have a game where the point of it is to kill everyone and destroy buildings.

This. Also, give us more shit to unlock and be proud of. Something more than Mercernaries, but something as fun and addictive as it. Dracula X on psp has the best unlockables ever. Imagine if companies tried to top that. A few fails, but someone will definitely raise the bar and make even better unlocks and goodies.

the graphics sucked...so the story had to be top notch!

You Sir Are A Genius.

I suggest we add robots to this and by extension add Robot Ninjas. (Or zombies/ Zombie Ninjas but that's not as cool)

I will add that there should be what is known as "middle ground", like in fallout3, there exists a neutral (but I see where you're going with the evil corporation thing).

More interaction, and more variety in the ways you can interact with things. More having your decisions actually matter. More actual competition.

Yeah as long as there's no padding bullshit.
Ya know where you have to walk to some far away place or drive for pointless hours or backtracking.
