What do people not believe about you?

IRL, people don't believe that I had Depression for quite a while.

This is what I wanted to post as well. I guess I'm just good at putting up social masks.

Also, include the fact that I've been visiting psychiatrists for over a year now, and hopefully visiting my last one at the moment. Then again I've barely told anyone, but they're always shocked when they hear it.

People never seem to believe tbat I'm gay. Despite my love of musicals, fabulous wardrobe, collection of scarves and a boyfriend. Weirdos...

I get the opposite, people always seem to believe that I'm gay because I like musicals and pay attention to my wardrobe and overal looks. No boyfriend though, and I bloody hate scarves. But still, it gets on my nerves.

Plus it just hammers down on my loneliness. Yeah thanks for remarking that I indeed never had a girlfriend and really long for mutual love. I have so much love to give and really want to be loved just for who I am, but it happening...

People are always surprised to find out that I'm a programmer. Everybody I meet outside of the professional or academic world seems to think I'm either an artist or a drug dealer. The most irritating thing about that is how often a person's respect for me will suddenly increase when they hear somebody else mention the university I attend.

I don't play alot of sports, in fact I want to get into psychology, and then politics. I play video games too.

People's eyes usually pop out in disbelief when I tell them about my weight. I don't look as heavy as I am.

No one believes I'm 18. Even when I showed them my ID, a bar told me to leave because it was clearly fake. I get ID'd for 15 games.
I have my own house, and a job but nope, still can't play games for 15 year olds.
People think I'm really one dimensional too, like I must only listen to the same sort of music, or only play one game genre. It's strange, they still think this even if I'm singing along to the latest poppy chart hits.

I look about 18, and am actually 27. I have shown ppl my ID and was told it was a fake, and have had a convenient store worker apologize after carding me for chew.

Besides some people not believing me when I tell them I'm gay, I don't look anywhere near my age. Which is annoying sometimes, even at 23 I get ID'd for 18+ stuff.

People who don't know me don't believe I have Asperger's when I first meet them. I usually have to tell people (I don't open conversations with that, though). Apparently, I'm too "normal" to be Autistic. Silly, since I'm highly eccentric, but people I meet seem to have a sterotype that I don't fit, therefore I can't possibly be Autistic to them.

I just remembered another one. People don't believe me (Over the internet) when I say I don't use the asdfjkl; way of typing yet my WPS is somewhere around 60 or 70. I brang it up in one topic and everyone was saying "That's not possible".

I also hold my pencil weird. I sort of "rebelled" as a child and I chose to hold a pencil "my own way" and learned to hold it that way. "Ah come on, how hard is it to hold a pencil?" I thought. Well, actually the above belongs in a different topic I made, but whatever...

Apparently, I look intimidating when I'm not doing anything, like standing there and staring off into space, when I'm really bored to death.

Also, I've never had thoughts about marriage, weird I know, but I can't seem to be bothered by it.
