THAT'S A LIE!!! EVERYONE BELIEVES THAT YOU'RE ALWAYS THAT NICE!!!

Ahem, sorry for that... BUT IT'S TRUE!!!!!!!!!!

Eeh... OT:

Well, most don't believe me when I tell them my plans for the future, and some (that is, my mum) kinda rages at me about it. Also they don't believe in that I actually eat food. Or sleep. Or do anything school related outside school... Also, at the last one they're kinda correct. :3

The way I am online is the me you would experience in real life.
I don't change because the people i'm talking to are hidden behind a monitor full of pixels, rather I treat them all as if I was standing in front of them.
you call them gay fags and make lame mom-jokes? Boo you.

People rarely believe i can dunk. so what if i'm not black?

My last girlfriend was very surprised, and initially didn't believe, that I hadn't slept with two of our mutual female friends. Odd, but it makes sense in context, I suppose.

Oh, and people find it hard to believe I had a relationship with another guy when I was 16.

Nothing recent that comes to mind, but I do remember in History class in secondary school we had to write poetry with a connection to the first world war, and when I handed mine over she flatout accused me of plagiarism because of the style I'd used. Things like deliberately avoiding conventions like rhyming couplets etc.

I swear she only hated me because my cousin caused her so much trouble.

Not really much, actually. At this point most people seem to believe what I say. At least I think they do. Well... there are a few stories from my past that they might not believe, but sometimes I question the truth of those stories too. I guess that means they balance out.

Well... most people probably don't believe that I am either really nice or really introspective. They usually accept one of these things fairly quickly, but not the other at first.

People don't believe I am vegetarian.

It's because I wear a lot of black, hang around with loud people, am outgoing and tell a lot of very rude jokes and swear a lot.

I'm often mistaken for being stupid due to my joking and general asshattery. Yesterday one of my friends said "Bloody hell, I never knew you were that smart!"

Just because I get lonely and research things I have an interest in, however slight.

That I'm gay, I guess? Most don't disbelieve per se but they always do a wide eyed and ask "Really?" Always seems like a shock to most people.

That i'm 19 (20 in less that a week).
And that I have a girlfriend, i'm constantly asked for a picture of me and her for proof.
I'm never told why its so unbelieveable though.

I was once a reactor operator on a submarine. ("The reactor is critical," does not mean something bad is about to happen.)

I got tired of the "Bullshit!" calls, so I just stopped mentioning it when people asked. It's better to let them form their own ideas about me anyway. My Subaru really is fun to drive, too.

Jesus?

not so much what people don't believe, but whenever a situation arises, people will discount my advice, only to realise in hindsight that my intuition would've been the best course of action. This has happened many a time.

People don't believe that I hate fighting. That's the only part of the 'Irish' stereotype I don't live up to (well, that and not being ginger).

That I have never smoked or taken an illicit drug. Especially pot - people seem to think I look like a pot head.

Apparently, I look intimidating when I'm not doing anything, like standing there and staring off into space, when I'm really bored to death.
I've got that before, too. The fact that I am almost always thinking of something, even when in conversations, thus causing my face to usually be blank or for me to have my 'thinking eyes', means I am hard to read. Which I suppose is true. But for that same reason, I have been accused of "looking like I want to kill someone".

It's not true! I promise! I'm merely blankly looking at you and thinking at the same time!

EDIT : After seeing the last post, I remembered that I have been asked if I would like to buy 'speed'. I said no, said that I don't do any drugs, and was then told that I was thought to be on speed. That's because when I'm bored I do ridiculous things.

Thanks. :3

Is this that plan involving what we talked about lady year? About that special someone? :)
Why yes it is actually. And some other plans, including what to do for a living... What's so wrong with wanting to work with helping people and only getting a place to live and food for it? <.< (ok, I can see why people think that one is weird, but what's so wrong with it? D:)

That I know a shitload about cars, and that I'm intelligent. Or that I'm 19 and not 25.

It's usually when I explain things, and people go "Oh my god! You're actually really clever!"

It's the 'actually' part that hurts.
